Very disappointingly, as the apartment was brilliant and really suited my needs, I had a terrible experience staying here. On the first evening, just after arriving and dropping off my bags, I got locked out due to a broken keycard. There was absolutely no response to the phone number, despite trying multiple times, and even through the efforts of the hotels.com service team. So after more than 2 hours, at 9.30pm, I had to give up and go and spend the night in a nearby hotel, with all of my stuff (apart from mobile phone) locked in the apartment. It is unthinkable to have unstaffed accommodation with no proper emergency contact.
I did get in the next day with a replacement keycard, but sadly the people staying in the apartment above me were playing music and jumping around until at least 5am so I didn't get any sleep at all that night after a stressful previous 24 hours.
