This was a great location and the staff was wonderful in making our stay feel comfortable. However, once we got there we learned that it was in the middle of a renovation project. The construction noise started early around 8am and lasted all day.

Overall good stay
It's a nice stay for travelling, efficient check in and out, has all the essentials, but the room is a little run down and pack in space. Ventilation doesn't seem to be working in my room. No sockets around bed space, only socket by the table which is the other side of the room. Quiet at night, but feels like the walls are quite thin. Overall still a decent stay for the price

We stayed for 2 nights. Unfortunately, they put us on the 6th floor which was the only floor under construction! Why would you put guests on floor under going construction? It was hard to nap during the day due to the noise. We asked to be moved but room they offered us was smaller than the small room we were already in. The rooms at this hotel are very small.

Adequate hotel in amazing area
It is an older hotel undergoing renovations. We had an older room so I can’t really give a proper review. Our room was adequate for our needs. A little small and thin walls between the rooms, the window let in noise and did not seal all the way. However, it was cheap for a really good area of London. Close to the park, restaurants, underground. Safe area. Perfect for our visit. I would stay again

The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodated our later checkout request. The location was very close to the underground stations (2 of them) and in a quiet neighborhood. We felt comfortable walking any time of the day to get to where we needed.

This was my third time staying at the hotel and although the lobby of the hotel looks updated and modern the bedrooms need to be upgraded. However, there was a design sign that stated they were in the upgrade process

This could be a great hotel but wasn’t brilliant.
This could be a great hotel but wasn’t brilliant. Location was great. Check-in was great. The room was ok but the toilet hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly and I had to ask the cleaners to come in to rectify. The bed was really comfortable but there was no bedside table or shelf at either side and no plug socket by the bed. Light switches were high and not easy to reach in bed. The noise level of people in surrounding rooms and corridor was frustrating. What really amazed me and was disturbing was the noise from the bathroom plumbing from other rooms including floors above. Every time a shower was run it sounded like the drains were running through my room. Like I said, this could be a great hotel but it wasn’t brilliant.

All I wanted was some sleep!
What a terrible place, a damp smelling room with insects that came out at night and an alarm that went off 3 times between midnight and 2am. Very little sleep was had and the desk seemed pleased with themselves in the morning that the problem with the alarms was now fixed
