This is pretty much the definition of a "no frills" experience; perhaps a bit too much so! On the positive side, the staff were friendly and it's a short walk from two tube stations (Earls Court and Gloucester Road). And it's next to a Sainsburys supermarket. On a more neutral front: the basic rooms are a lot more minimalist than might be expected from the standard description. The double bed in my en-suite room touched three of the four walls, leaving just a small rectangle of floor in front of the plastic "wet room" cubicle. It's absolutely tiny; barring two coat hooks on the wall, the bed is literally the only place you can put anything. It's also windowless, and the aircon was quietly but noticeably always on. I ended up setting an alarm, since there were no natural-light clues to indicate if it was morning yet. Then, the negatives. There's no lift, and getting to the third floor involves around 70 steps. Not fun with any form of luggage; I'm genuinely grateful I wasn't giving a room on the fourth floor! The sound proofing is pretty weak; I could hear birds outside and conversations from the next room. The shower water literally took 3-4 minutes to warm up. You have to pay extra for daily housekeeping. And when I got home, I found a few itchy blotches on my skin, which may be bedbug bites! Especially since I sleep on my side and they're all on the side which touches the mattress. Still, it's cheaper than a normal hotel and offers more privacy than a hostel...

We arrived to the hotel to check in at the time provided and a room wasn’t available till 5pm!! We had an event to go to and ended up being over an hour late as we couldn’t check in and get ready. Room was filthy (mainly floors). One towel between two people and one toilet roll. Wouldn’t stay again.

I wouldn’t advise paying extra for a room with a window. They ended up giving me a room without a window despite paying extra. Rooms are very small and only has space for one bed and bathroom. Small TV mounted very high on the wall and wasn’t really good for watching.

Yes, our concept is to have a slightly smaller rooms but in a great locations where price can't be beaten by competitors.
