Ok for cheap and a bed to sleep in
Look a while to check in. Only one person on the desk and they were on the phone. The lobby is really hot and no air conditioning. Bathroom was dirty. The sink in the room was dripping all night. Taps are great. But good mattress and it isn't too loud at all. The social area seems good. Coffee is good. Lifts were out of service when checking out which wasn't fun. And some vending machines not working. But good price for private room. You get what you pay for

Central location. Great vibe and facilities with luggage storage. Dorm was a bit squished but fine if you are only there to sleep. They could do with more staff at reception but I would still book again

The hostel reception were often too busy messing with their mobile phones. Toilets on the 3rd floor the door locks didn't work and not on the "changing room" bits either. There was nowhere to put clothes while showering nor to sit down while getting dressed. Plug sockets or usb closer to the beds would be appreciated. Overall though I slept quite well and it was ok for the money

A bed is a bed and the rooms are nice but I was next to the smoking area where people were so drunk and loud one night someone was banging on something and then the fire alarm was pulled at 2am.

Toilets are far from many of the rooms, only one on each floor. Arrived at midnight off the train and then had to make bed whilst trying not to wake other room members up. There was a light and usb on each bed, but had someone located in the room who snored all night, not hostels fault, so went done to reception at 02.15 to say I was going to sleep on a chair in the bar area, they allocated me a different room with only one other guest in it, but guess what they also snored 😩😩

Bad location and accessibility. No space to drive up to entrance so had to drag my suitcases to entrance and then also up a flight of stairs. Had to take stairs to get to reception; no elevator.

Nicely decorated in the reception and bar areas, needs a bit of a touch up around facilities, toilet doors etc. Was a small stain on mattress and my sheet had seen better days, but bed was comfortable and handy light and USB plus for charging on each bed. Room was so hot, but large fan was already in the room.

It was my first time at a hostal being a lone female traveller l was a bit apprehensive but I had a really great time at Generator. Staff happy and helpful all the time. Met people l wouldn't usually meet and l had one awesome evening with a few. It's all there for you, you don't even have to go outside. Every night is Saturday night on the ground floor, food till late, drinks and club till 3am. your in a safe environment and getting back to bed which is comfy is no problem either. I would definitely stay again. Well done Team Generator ❤️
