The breakfast was incredible. And the staff were very helpful in every way. We found this hotel very convenient for transportation. It was close to everything we needed. Our room was small but had enough room for us to be comfortable. The bathroom was modern and very clean. I would stay there again.

Desperately needs renovation
The room was ok in terms of amenities and bed for a one night stay. On the smaller side but has a little sofa fitted in so not bad. Location is great for a London visit, being 5 minutes from Kensington undergroung and the bus stops on the high street. There is Waitroise 10 minutes walk. Staff are friendly and helpful. But, The room is in desperate need for deep cleaning and renovation. The carpet is not the cleanest, has stains on the side and the wall, and the phone has layers of dirt. The phone line did not work great either as the receptionist did not hear what i was saying and just hung up. They don't provide complementary drinking water bottles. The sofas in the lobby unfortunately are worn out and stained as well. Overall if you really don't have to, look for better options worth this money.

We ended up checking out early and moving to a Radisson. Pubic hair was in the bathroom, the beds were rock solid and people above us had a party in their room. To top it off, we had the fire alarm go off at 4am from their smoking upstairs. Staff told us it was incense from a r room but we know it was the party people since we heard them out the window and they didn’t return post fire alarm. The only highlight was we were refunded our money by the Duty Manager. For being in High Street Kensington and charging £350 a night, we’d expect a bit more of the general Holiday Inn group budget to make this hotel more special.

We really liked the hotel overall. The staff were very friendly, keen and helpful but we would like to make special mention of Hannah in the restaurant/bar. Her cheerfulness, excellent service and kind consideration made us feel right at home and very relaxed.

The staff greeted us with warmth and shared us some knowledge and tips about becoming an IHG member. Georgina from Holiday Inn High Street Kensington offered us many upgrades and preferences to choose from. This is, by far, our most favourite Holiday Inn IHG branch and would love to come back again
