Nice property - falling short on simple details.
It’s bizarre to me that the management of this property does not see fit to buy toilet seats that fit the toilets. I stayed in two different rooms, both with round seats on elongated bowls. Whatever are they thinking? Room service cleaned my room immaculately but never replenished the teabags that I’d used

Hotel staff extremely rude, rooms had stains and bodily fluid, unsafe area with a high chance of getting mugged. Depressing area. Need to go through 20 fire doors to get to your room. Asked night staff for toothbrush but said they no longer offer that service. Turns out he was just lazy and didn’t want to come up. Ridiculous how this is rated so high, bots or company hiring writers

Staff were great. BUT. No parking (are you kidding?? In London and a 4 star hotel does not have parking?) I got a $110 parking fine illegally parked for 10 min while we went to get our bags. Thanks.

Pretty Nice
I think this place is a great place to stay if you want to get a hotel in London, especially if you need to use the underground of Finsbury Park to get around. Despite the price being a bit high for the quality of the hotel, it's definitely a great hotel and the experience is not stressful at all.

Great sized room, large beds ( room smelt slightly like a smoking room). Bar and dinner was great, close to the best haddock and chips we've ever eaten (more peas). Breakfast was very busy but still great service.

Good location, very close to the tube station but our room was in the basement and we could hear trains every few minutes. There was very limited natural light as the window was frosted. Also our shower door screen was broken. I think it is a basic hotel with nice styling. Would stay again but would ask for a non-basement room.
