Disorganised and Poorly Run!
Arrived at the hotel at 3:30pm to be told the hotel was fully booked and the only room they had available was a single when I paid for a superior double room 4 weeks in advance! Then we're told they have a double room but was not ready yet when the email told us we could check in a 2pm. The guests in front of us also were unhappy as they discovered there were guests already in the room when they checked in. Disorganised and poorly run are the words I'd use. (I would like to point out that Jeffrey working front of house was nice and really tried to get the situation resolved).
We ended up getting a double standard room which we settled for as we needed to stay in the area for a marathon. Obviously still upset as we paid extra for the superior room. I was told the hotel would reach out by Monday 7th April to discuss my compensation but have yet to receive this.
The room we got was very tiny and compact but comfort was still okay. As long as check in doesnt get messed up I'd recommend.
