Handy location for us close to Ritz Hotel, also convenient to walk to locations I.E. Buck House, Hyde Park Piccadily . Road quite busy so movements of sevice lorries noticeable

The hotel was in an excellent location. The room was a little small, however, manageable. Although the room did not appear to be central heated we there was an excellent oil heater, which meant we were not cold. Nice firm bed and cushions. overall good. Would stay again.

Very disappointing

Pros: Location - staff still tried their best.
Cons: Everything !
Location: Mayfair, central, restaurants and pubs - again this was for business.
I went to this hotel for business functions every three years. Until this last visit the hotel was a good compromise for me in terms of quality/price/location. It seems the management has changed and the overall quality of the hotel has sharply declined. Arrival at 2:00 PM, the room was barely ready. I was put in a corner room, where the faucet handles were different, the bed seemed like someone had slept in it, in the middle of the room thrones an AC unit, whose hose was connected to the window, leaving a gap. I have taken photos. Overall for the price and overall condition, I am very disappointed and will no longer bother making reservations there. I also did not like the fact that I had to prepay my stay...Now, I know why ! If I had seen the state of the room I would have left for another hotel!

I can see why this Mayfair hotel was on offer

Upon arrival at Park Lane Mews my expectations were quite high as its located in Mayfair. The outside appearance was very clean and classy. Check in was smooth and staff very helpful and polite. As we entered our room on the second floor I thought we were in a spare room!! You couldn't really move properly, it was that small!! Bathroom was also very small. If you were a large person you wouldn't fit on the toilet because the bath would be in the way. The plug socket on the wall where the kettle was I couldn't use because my Iphone charger because it has the USB at the bottom so couldn't get it in the socket unless you bent the cable and damaged it. The bed was like a sheet of plywood and not comfortable at all!! Suffered with my back after my first nights sleep. I don't think this hotel is worth 4* at all and I can see why it was on offer when I booked. On the positive side, staff were very polite, location was good, and only a short walk to green park tube station. Don't think I'd stay here again though, once is enough.
