Tired and empty
We’ve occasionally stayed at the Park for many years now due to the location being close to family, so the convenience factor is high. Nonetheless, the property could use some care. The rooms seem empty in terms of furnishings, so I have to leave my suitcase on the floor. A giant bedroom without even a chair or extra dresser without a tv on it. The hotel is marketed as ‘all-suite’, while it seems like the pullout sofa mattresses haven’t been changed in a decade. Extremely uncomfortable for the person who’s using it. The supplied pillows are all massive, so much so that we’ve started packing our own to avoid a painful neck the following day. I’m sure the paid parking issue has been brought up in other reviews. After free parking at the property for many years, the price of parking is a ripoff and an insult. It’s not midtown Manhattan, guys. It all just feels low effort. Despite the convenience, I’ll be looking for alternatives in the future.

The property location is great. Hotel is dated. Furniture is badly picked. They also put the wooden bed frame beside a door so you leave the property with a scar to remember. Whoever did the furniture selection should be fired.

Good location but the condition of the property has deteriorated in the last year. Issues with the underground parking resulted in a suggestion from the front desk to park in the public lot behind the hotel but the lack of adequate lighting made us feel unsafe leaving our car there

Hotel is conveniently located by bus routes for the area. Easy access to get to your location. Breakfast was included that was a bonus. We had experience noisy construction work during our first night at the hotel from 1:30am to 5:00am.

Room 504. Move the dresser to the other side so you aren’t hitting your shins on the corner of the bed on the way to the bathroom. A full length mirror in the bathroom is needed. Over the panel, behind the door or on one of the doors. Refill water stations are needed. If not on every level/every other or In the lobby. The breakfast buffet is not the best system to fill larger bottles. Overhead lighting in the living room. If not, brighter lamps or brighter lampshades. $32 for underground parking. Seems a bit excessive with the price of the room booking. Can it not be included or discounted when reserved ahead?
