Located on a beautiful dirt road the farm tucked into the woods down its own driveway. Located 10 min to “town” and everything you could possibly need! Our cabin is a true gem situated between some of Vermont’s best ski mountains making it one of the best barn stays in the state! The kitchen was updated to be a chefs dream and the bathroom is beautiful and all original. The bathtub is the biggest tub in the state of Vermont!!!

Cleanings:
Our cleaning and linen fee is there to allow our cleaning lady to fully disinfect, clean, do laundry, fold linens and get the bathrooms and kitchen to sparkle. We charge just a bit more these years for all the changes we have experienced from Covid, property tax hikes and STR taxes. Hope you understand.
We have some rules you will be asked to sign on arrival.
-Please, take care of this cabin as you would your own home
-This is your space and your space only. Guest that are not in the reservation are are not allowed. The only people allowed to this listing are the ones you have added.
-Do not ask to bring more guests than the ones allowed in the listing
-Quiet time (no loud noises, no loud music and no outdoor conversations) starts at 10pm
-Please READ all our detailed rules before Booking!!!
IMPORTANT.
If you want total isolation also skip it. Our little cabin is not far off so you WILL see other folks and you will hear me out on the tractor mowing or clearing snow...You will for sure get an unsolicited visit from our black lab! Keep your voices down and let nature do the talking. We are in the farmhouse should you need us.

PETS
We love our animals at Bent Apple Farm, but we only allow dogs and we do charge a 150 dollar pet fee.
-Dogs must be crate trained and can not come to the property without.
-It is your responsibility to NEVER leave your pup unattended in the cabin even for trip to the grocery store.
-Please brush and trim your pet’s nails before coming to our cabin to avoid damaging our natural wood floors.
-If your dog is a chewer, this listing may not be a good fit for he/she.
-We don’t allowed pets in furniture or bed. If you cuddle with your dog in bed every night, this may not be a good fit for you.
-Be very cautious during hunting season to keep your pup close.
-At night/dusk be sure your dog is with you as we have coyotes and hawks, owls and bears in VT.
Guest Access
Park in the horseshoe at the top of the driveway. It's just to the left as you enter. Big white building and a little cabin. You are staying at the big white building. Ask ben for the code to the door. enter around the back by the woodpile. Don't park too close to the roof or ice might land on your car!
Shoes and Boots - Leave all shoes under the benches in the mudroom.
We ask our guest to no use outdoor shoes inside the house. This makes cleaning easier and will protect our soft pine floors.
Grilling:
You have a nice area out back of the cabin for grilling. No need to bring much at all in the way of cooking/grilling we are well stocked! Be sure to turn off the gas both on the grill and at the propane tank after use. Let us know if you have used a tank so we can be sure to replace it for the next guests.
Internet:
Just locate the hotspot (black about the size of a phone) and be sure it’s charged and turned on. It will give you a password on the home screen. Enter that and you are set! Please no streaming or you will eat up all the data!

1. The use of drugs, medication or alcohol prior to or during the sauna session may lead to dizziness or unconsciousness.
2. Please consult your physician if you are in doubt of your ability to use sauna.
3. No guests under the age of 18 are permitted in the sauna unless accompanied by
a parent, legal guardian, or supervising and consenting adult.
4. Please discontinue the use of the sauna if you feel light-headed, dizzy, or heat
exhausted.
5. Sauna sessions should be limited to a maximum of 40 minutes at one time.
WHAT TO BRING...
-Bring extra towels for the hot tub and sauna! We have you covered for regular bathroom towels.
-Pack warm! VT can get chilly even in the warm months when the sun goes down!
-Pack a good pair of boots.
-Keep in mind we clean out the kitchen of just about everything between guests so please bring spices and even cooking oils.
If you wish to use our beautiful wood burning stove we ask you bring a stack of dry kindling to ease up the process! If you forget to pick it up our local grocery store and hardware store have stacks waiting for you but keep in mind they close early!! We provide wood and You are welcome to use as much of it as you want

Additional house rules
NO VISITORS: the number of people you book is and are the only people you will have to the property.
No LOUD MUSIC: this is our home and you should respect that.
NO PARTIES: Any hint of this taking place and you will be removed from the property without question.
NO SMOKING - only on the driveway are you permitted to smoke. Be sure your buts are extinguished all the way!
Hot Tub & Sauna -Please shower before the use of either the hot tub or the sauna. This is VERY IMPORTANT!
Please eat at dinning room table or kitchen area only to avoid stains in furniture.
Cooking – Clean up the kitchen after you cook! Do the dishes and put it back exactly as you found it.
Heavy Equipment – Chainsaws, table saws, tractors and snowmobiles are all off limits.
Hunting – Keep in mind that in people hunt a lot in Vermont. Ask locally about hunting months usually around Thanksgiving and put on something orange is you plan on taking a walk.
Check out instructions:
Laundry/Beds - before you depart please strip the sheets and pillow cases and put them all into 1 pillow case and leave just outside of the laundry room downstairs.
-Don’t leave food behind or dirty dishes, we expect you to clean and pick up after yourself
-Leave used towels piled up in bathroom floor
-Respect the struggle of our cleaning crew and understand the cleaning lady needs to make a living as do we.
Trash - at the end of your stay please leave trash by bear proof dump. It is located at the end of the drive way behind the Barn structure.
Stoves - range and burners. Please double check they are off before you leave the house
Heat - Please leave the heat at 55 when you are out of the house or not using a room. Heat is expensive!!
When you are using the room feel free to turn up the heat to your desired temp (65-70) is fine especially if the wood stove is in operation you will find yourself plenty toasty. Keep in mind that the loft gets very hot.
The thermostat over the sink is the only one you will ever need!
