Everything about the hotel itself is wonderful. The rooms are great and fun, the beds and pillows are super comfortable, the staff are awesome and incredibly helpful, the breakfast and coffee are delicious. As a first timer in LA, being unfamiliar with the different areas, prepare for the area surrounding the hotel to be a little rough. If you’re taking Ubers and Lyfts everywhere, you’ll be just fine. It’s certainly not a BAD area, but not super comfortable for an out of town visitor to wander around the streets. Overall 11/10 hotel, and would definitely recommend to someone wanting to stay in DTLA.

The property is fun, young and clean. The breakfast buffet is reasonably priced and has quite a few options. The gym is compact but does the job. They have a few pelatons as well as one of those mirror digital gyms too. The rooms are unfortunately extremely small. Thankfully we only stayed two nights so it wasn't a deal breaker. The area around the hotel is pretty rough so watch your back.

Really enjoyed the unique art and atmosphere. The lobby was fantastic with plenty of space for enjoying good and chilling with a laptop. The room was also great with a wonderful iPad system. Only wish there was a fan for the bathroom.
