We waited at the airport for the hotel shuttle for 2 hours. Two shuttles passed us but didn't stop. One stopped but the driver said he was full. Finally gave up and ordered a Lyft. Directions for finding the shuttle were not clear. We were told to get the shuttle outside baggage claim. Wrong floor - the shuttle stop was on the second floor and not right outside baggage claim. We finally found someone who worked at LAX who told us we were waiting on the wrong floor. That was before we waited in the correct spot for 2 hours. As to the hotel itself, it was ok. The bathroom looked like it was not quite finished. There were several brackets that looked like they were supposed to hold a shelf but there was no shelf. The beds were fine and clean.

We were disappointed that it was not disclosed on the website that several amenities were closed due to renovations. We did get an email a couple days before check-in that a grab & go bag was being offered instead of breakfast buffet as that area was under renovation. The message did not mention that the Gym & pool were also closed due to renovation which we did not find out about until the day after check-in.

The security guard was great! He helped us with holding our bags and was so nice. Outside that the staff was very unfriendly and communication was horrible between night and day staff. Ask for towels at checkin no towels asked to be shuttled to the airport no arrangement had been communicated the next morning. The morning grab and go breakfast was being handed out like an elementary school lunch line with the staff telling me just one please. Really! I wanted to grab one for my husband who is on the reservation. I will not be staying at a La Quinta in the future.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your property. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was the advertised "breakfast" option, which was meant to offer convenience, particularly in the mornings. Unfortunately, I discovered upon arrival that this is not a proper breakfast. Instead, I was handed a small bag containing an apple, a muffin, and a small bottle of water. This is far from what I would consider a breakfast offering, and it does not meet the expectations set by your advertisement. Furthermore, I was not informed beforehand about the extensive refurbishment currently underway, which appears to be a long-term project and has resulted in the lack of proper canteen facilities. This information was not disclosed on your website, and as a guest, I find this omission misleading. I strongly urge you to: Update your website to clearly inform potential guests about the ongoing refurbishment. Remove or accurately describe the "breakfast" option to avoid further confusion or disappointment for future guests. I hope you take this feedback into consideration to improve transparency and guest satisfaction moving forward. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Great place to stay close to the airport but was under construction/renos! Elevator from parkade did not work due to Reno’s. Lobby was super small and draped in tarps. Carry and go breakfast was available from 7 on. None of this was noted while booking/reserving. Would have been great to know instead of unloading car, then reloading to drive back dow to find front and unload again since elevator from parkade to lobby didn’t work. Room was newly renovated and very nice! Clean and bright.

$45 parking fee was rediculous!!! Restaurant closed due to renovations. Should be reduced cost when everything is not as it should. Won't stay again!
