Nice hotel, unusual mid century modern architecture. Friendly staff. Note that this is vallet parking only - cheaper if booked in advance! I stayed just after the wildfires - I don’t know if this has affected service but there were a few omissions. My room had a coffee maker but no cups etc. I was told there was free coffee but there was not. There were no staff in the restaurant for breakfast at 08:45 - 09:00 - but other than that the hotel is clean, quiet and safe. It’s right on the 450 which was very convenient for me.

The staff are always super accommodating when I stay here. The service was again was exceptional during this stay and I appreciate that they communicated especially well during the fire warnings. Great leadership shows at this hotel.

Love this hotel but my favorite thing about it was that all the rooms have a balcony but they’re locked now so you can’t use it. I’m a big fan of air circulation so that kinda sucked, but overall a great stay! 9/10

Cool hotel.

The hotel, while situated in an older building, has been tastefully remodeled to a contemporary standard, offering a refined and pleasant experience. The top-floor restaurant provides exceptional dining with stunning views. It's an ideal location for those visiting UCLA. Good sized room.

Horrible experience - rude staff

We've stayed many times and have always been pleased with the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the location is great. However, we had a terrible experience this time. We had two rooms - paid for by the same credit card. Late at night the the front desk called my colleague and told him there was no credit card for the room (despite the fact that the other room had a credit card on file). The agent from the front desk was rude and mean when my colleague (who was asleep) offered to come to the front desk in the morning. The agent threatened to call the police immediately. Overall we had a horrible experience.
