Older hotel but very clean and parking was included with gated parking option. Hotel is next to the fwy onramp so it was super quick to get on the road home. Also, the hotel is super close to the Burbank Hills where we had dinner reservations to a local restaurant called Castaway. Overall, good experience and would stay here again.

It was okay. I forgot a razor, and they wouldn't give me a courtesy razor.. That annoyed me. Pointed to the kiosk and said you have to pay for it. There was not a microwave in the room either. That annoyed me too. Put a microwave in the rooms. You had to tell them the day before, the day before, if you wanted your room cleaned. At the Best Western I just put up my do Not disturb and they left me alone, and when I took it off, it came in and cleaned my room. I paid more for this room, I didn't get a breakfast buffet like I did at Best Western, Best Western gave me a courtesy razor... And it was super close to the ocean. The Best Western in Oceanside was far superior. Best Western will be my choice going forward.

You get what you pay for. This hotel worked fine for us. We stayed 3 nights and our main purpose was to go to Universal Studios. It was half the price of hotels located closer to the park and an easy 15 minute drive away. There are plenty of stores and places to eat within a 5 to 8 minute drive. As to the property itself, the swimming pool was larger then expected from the online photos. It is extremely cold. Felt good on a hot day, less so once it cooled off. There are 4 lounge chairs that have seen better days, a couple tables and umbrellas as well. The railings on the second floor on one side of the courtyard was used to hang sheets to dry and laundry carts were constantly visible. Not the most pleasant sight while swimming in the pool. We had a room with 2 queen beds. The only place to sit beside the bed is one desk chair. A small table an chairs would have been nice and there is room for them. The flooring was faux wood with a couple loose floorboards. A microwave would have been helpful. The mini fridge was nice but they clearly state it is meant to cool drinks. Beds were standard. Blankets felt like they came from a surplus store, I didn't want to touch them. The bathroom was okay; needs a place to put your clothes while you take a shower. There's one hook and a towel rack. I ended up having to set my stuff down on the back of the toilet. A small table would solve that issue. Overall, our stay was fine. The room served it's purpose but nothing special.

Everything was great! I would say excellent until the middle of the night I went to the restroom and idk if it was a roach or a water bug but it was neat the toilet. I left the light on in case it was a roach. I killed it. But I got kind of grossed out that they were around me. I’m assuming it came from the bath but i don’t know.
