Had several occasions to interact with front desk staff. One man in particular seemed extremely "challenged" by very simple questions or tasks like just printing a receipt at checkout. Waited behind other customers on two separate occasions for long periods for him to do simple "hotel stuff". The day we returned from the trip Orbitz sent an email informing us that our credit card was compromised through an incident with hotel staff. Multiple fraudulent charges to deal with. Had to cancel the card. I won't be back and suggest you avoid this place.

The Royal Palace was perfect for our needs. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Free parking was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying at the Royal Palace if you’re in the area.

I loved the hotel so much. It looks like the room was just renovated recently. It is located in a vibrant area close to UCLA, but it is not noisy because it's not directly facing the major street. There are lot of restaurants close by. Very nice area.

Very clean.
We stayed here for a trip for a planned surgery for a family member. So we weren't looking for the ultimate vacation spot, but were pleasantly surprised at how clean and spacious the room was. Walking distance to UCLA and all of Westwood Village. Will definitely stay again if we're in the area.
