We stay in Redondo/Hermosa beach area every year on our way home from Sydney Australia to Canada. This is our first stay at Shade hotel and it will not be our last. The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are large and good value for money. The bar and restaurant have everything you need and everything is accessible via a short ride/walk down the strand. Great location! Right on the water with several restaurants within walking distance. The only downside is that you’re forced to pay $45 per night for the valet to park your car a few feet away on the surface lot. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for the price.
