Charming property tucked away across from a great Farmers Market and The Grove, an outdoor mall filled with shops and eateries The hotel has a wonderful bar / restaurant . Food is delicious and drinks creative and tasty . The courtyard is a special place to relax and at night it becomes magical . The attention to detail is what helps to make this property shine. Great location in West Hollywood, right across from the Farmers Market which made eating option's easy. Cute boutique property, great happy hour, could be extended until 7pm. Great complimentary coffee in the mornings. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Short Stories! The hotel was just perfect for our quick visit to LA with a 1 year old. Everything felt clean and cared for. The bartender whipped us up a few fabulous cocktails. The Grove is right across the street, plus this location is so close to LACMA and the La Brea Tar Pits. Coffee and tea in the morning did not disappoint. The turn down service made you feel welcome to your home-away-from-home. We’ll definitely be back!

Such an adorable property! Love the mid century modern vibe. The restaurant/bar is awesome. Super walkable to the farmers market/Grove - we walked there for breakfast every morning! Perfect location in LA, easy to get to pretty much all the major locations. Highly recommend!

Don’t stay here if you want friendly service. The entire time we did not feel welcome by the staff here. Travelling from Australia, we were so excited to visit LA and the experience was dulled by how we were treated and looked at by staff. One of the only positives, the location.

Water pressure at hotel was very lack luster there was very little pressure. All staff was super friendly. Bar on site had a new bartender so the first night went to order some drinks and about half were not available due to new bartender so that was a little disappointing. On Expedia it said two complementary drinks was thinking it would be a drink at the bar or a drink of choice it was Prosecco just not what I was thinking two drinks would be. Dog friendly which is great.

A lovely, boutique hotel in a very convenient location opposite The Grove Farmers Market and central to other tourist sites in LA. Staff were friendly and helpful, area felt safe and rooms were compact but clean and thoughtfully decorated. Would recommend and stay again.
