Spread out and relax at The Wellingmoor, the 4th addition to the Louisville Bourbon House collection of properties. Southern Charm meets Modern Convenience at this fully remodeled brick ranch. Perfect for groups of up to 8, you'll be right in the middle of Bourbon Country. Just a few blocks from the famous Bardstown Road Highlands, you can shop, sip, eat, and explore....oh and did we mention you can come back home to a hot, relaxing, bubbly hot tub!

The home itself feature 3 private bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed and Smart TV. The living room has a Queen sleeper sofa with a comfy mattress topper and a 4th Smart TV. There are 2 full bathrooms, each with a shower/tub combination. Our stackable, front loading washer/dryer makes The Wellingmoor a perfect base camp for extended reservations. The open concept kitchen has all of the modern appliances and amenities you would expect and is great for preparing meals at home or ordering in, complete with granite counter tops, custom cabinets, and stylish back splash. You will find bar height seating for 6 in the dining area. This charming home is finished with modern decor on the interior.

Make your way outside to the private, fenced in backyard. You can relax and entertain year round on our patio with seating for 8, string lighting, gas grill, and propane outdoor fire pit. Recharge and unwind in our deluxe hot tub, cleaned and serviced weekly.

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Guests are required to sign all Rental Agreements prior to check in. If guests refuse to sign the rental agreement, the cancellation policy will still apply.

KENTUCKY DERBY: All Kentucky Derby week/weekend reservations are non refundable, regardless of whether or not a rental agreement has been signed.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit hold is required for this reservation. This deposit is collected outside of the booking platform. The deposit must be collected at least 3 days prior to check or the reservation may be cancelled and the cancellation policy will still apply.

Enjoyed the property. Located right off highway so 15 minutes or less to most Louisville locations. House and amenities are as described and pictured. Enjoyed back yard area with hot tub, table and chairs. About an hour ride to Bardstown and Frankfort / Versailles distilleries.

Five family members stayed to attend the National Archery Competition. The home was very clean, newly renovated and well equipped. Exactly what we needed. It is in an older neighborhood, but the other homes are nice and it was quiet. I would stay again and recommend it to others.

I stayed here with some co-workers while attending an event at the Expo Center. Very clean property, comfortable beds, and minutes from the Expo Center. I usually stay in hotels for work but being my first experience renting a house may have me changing my mind about hotels. Overall great experience.

I was impressed with how quiet the neighborhood was for being in the city limits. My country kids were the only noise when we ventured to the backyard. Not even road traffic noise! The beds were comfy and everything was clean. We had. I reason to contact the property manager, but I’m sure we would have had an easy transaction if needed. The hot tub was perfect after all of our long days walking around and it was perfect combined with the cool air. It was also a tranquil setting with all of the lightning bugs glowing in the trees. There was plenty of towels for my family of 7 and I was shoeboxes to see detergent for washing our clothes. We did bring our own sue to skin sensitivities but it’s nice to have that amenity! The only slight issue we had was figuring out now to work the dishwasher lol! But goggles it and got it running! A can opener would be beneficial but we made it work without one. Overall a fantastic place to stay!

Property was perfect for 2 couples in town to celebrate a birthday. Home was just as presented; very clean with everything we needed. Hot tub was pristine and we had no hesitation about using it. Excellent place and a beautiful house with a great enclosed backyard!
We booked this house last minute after another listing fell through to go to the Kentucky Derby Marathon. We had a group of 5, and I have zero complaints about the property. One of the best rentals I've stayed at, especially for the price. The house is recently renovated (Google Street view is not updated) and one of the cleanest rentals I've ever booked. Check-in was simple with Brandon contacting me well in advance with the information. He was very responsive to my questions. The house has three equally sized bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses and enough linens for all of the guests, plus a pull out couch that we didn't use. The two full-size bathrooms were spotless and the on-demand hot water heater was awesome after the long race. The enclosed backyard is very large and relatively private from your neighbors, with a seating area, lighting, a fire pit, and a large hot tub. The location is good and it's tucked back in a quiet safe neighborhood about 15 minutes southeast of downtown. That gives you really easy access to NuLu, Germantown, Butchertown, and Highlands.
