Charming little hotel

Have a wonderful stay in this little hotel. Room size is spacious (as a single room with double bed) in European standard with a little balcony overlooking a little bit of the lake. Breakfast (included in the room rate) is served in the restaurant in buffet setting with a variety of chooses (cheese, cold cut, boiled egg, bread, fresh fruit salad, etc.) and the restaurant also serves lunch and dinner with good service! Though the hotel is not located within Lugano city centre it is still reachable by 20 min walk or bus #2 with bus station right outside the hotel (bus #2 passing the Lugano train station before arriving at the city centre). The hotel is located in the Paradiso area where funicular station to Mount San Salvatore is within 10 min walk from the hotel. Also there are 2 supermarkets within 5 min walk from the hotel. Lastly, there IS free wifi within the hotel and staff are very friendly and helpful at the reception! I always asked for their advice every morning on where to visit for the day and they always gave me detailed explanation and of cos with the help of shelves of travel leaflet right in front of the reception! Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Lugano and the Ticino region!

Lage OK, Stad gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Lärm durch Güterzüge in der Nacht etwas störend bei offenem Fenster.

Kleines eher altmodisches Hotel, jedoch sauber und gepflegt. Personal ist freundlich. Einzig das Frühstück ist etwas mager und die Einrichtung etwas älter und in die Jahre gekommen.
