Overall, great stay! We enjoyed the comfortable beds and the complimentary breakfast. We did not give it 5 stars because our heating unit in the room made a creaking noise whenever running.

The elevator was broken for 1 of the days we were there. The sheets didn't fit the bed they kept coming off the bed. It made for a uncomfortable night. I told house Keeping and they put the same type of fitted sheet as before. Hotel was clean but they need to get things fixed.

Neutral feelings about our stay
The overall stay was fair. I appreciate the fact that they gave us another room after immediately finding out that our toilet wasn’t working. Unfortunately, the new room was right across from the stair access and we could hear the slamming of that door at all hours of the day and night. The rooms seemed decently clean, as well as the rest of the hotel. I appreciated the continental breakfast which was a typical continental breakfast. I also appreciated that they had coffee available in the breakfast area 24/7. I was disappointed to find out how close we were to the highway because of the noise that this caused and our room faced the highway. I would be sure to request a room that did not face the highway. We were met at the reception desk with friendly faces. That was nice.

They had one of the saddest breakfasts that I have ever seen in a motel of any kind. The carpets were incredibly old and dirty. The bathroom was mostly nice. Can't say I would stay here again. I did meet one nice worker on the elevator. Otherwise, it was a difficult experience.

Property could use a face lift. Room was overall clean. Wallpaper peeling in bathroom. Room was first floor so it was a little noisy. Beds were comfortable and staff was friendly. Close to LU.

This was my first experience at a Microtel hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was inside. The room was nice. It didn't have a lot of plug-ins next the bed for me personally. Breakfast was good.
