The history of Solar das Arcas (Property of Municipal Interest) is extremely rich. Built between the 17th and 18th centuries, the mansion was designed by Nicolau Nasoni to be the main hall of the Pessanha Family. It currently remains the property of this family and is open to the public as a magnificent farm for rural and nature tourism. Solar das Arcas stands out especially for the charm of its construction. The halls, the private chapel, the outdoor swimming pool, the traditional kitchens and the very characteristic decoration manage to please any observer. The space redesigned by the famous architect João Bernardo Távora is inserted in a surrounding agricultural and forestry landscape in production. Solar das Arcas is located in the village of Arcas (Macedo de Cavaleiros/Trás-os-Montes/Portugal), and is close to the stunning Azibo Dam (10 km). Local calmo, com uma piscina partilhada mas muito agradável. Bem recebidos e sempre prestáveis a resolver qualquer problema que surgisse. Apartamento limpo e muito agradável. A internet não é de grande qualidade, não estando disponível dentro da habitação. Não tem máquina de lavar loiça como refere no anuncio.
