Good breakfast, comfortable and safe stay
The room was comfortable, secure, and clean. We really appreciated the small refrigerator (there was also a microwave, but we didn't use it). The ventilation controls worked well. The location looks out on a highway but we didn't experience any outside noise. Breakfast provided a hot choice of eggs (cooked to order) or pancakes or French toast, accompanied by breakfast meat and potatoes. There were other options such as bagels, muffins, toast, yogurt, cereal, juice. Breakfast is five stars. The coffee was good and hot during breakfast (we tried it in the afternoon and not as hot then). Staff were very nice. This is an older property but pretty well maintained. Parking was readily available and the parking lot was well-lit. Amenities were adequate, but I prefer to have large refillable containers rather than small plastic ones.

The property was fine. The area surrounding the property is not very appealing and you need to have a car to get anything - no stores or services within walking distance (I.e. market, restaurants, etc).

This property was run down and not at all worth the $300/night we paid. There were 3 of us, our daughter was going to sleep on the pull out couch bed. When we pulled it out it reeked of urine so bad there was no way she could sleep on it. So we had to cram into the one bed and none of us got much sleep. It made our trip less enjoyable since we were all so tired.

No longer a good option
We've been staying at this hotel for years. This most recent stay was $100 more than every other stay. The breakfast, lack of hot water and furnishings don't justify over $200/night room. I doubt that we will be staying here again.

Everything was wonderful. I was in town for a family funeral, so I wasn't interested in anything except a comfortable bed and a hot shower in the morning. Both were terrific. I will definitely stay with you again.

This is our go to hotel Madison. They have a made to order at breakfast in the morning. Rooms are nice and clean and comfortable conveniently located restaurants we stay here at least three or four times a year. My husband likes to fish in Madison so we’re here pretty often. They have fair prices. The hotel pet fee is rather high. I believe they charged us $35 a night to bring our small poodle the last stay. I don’t recall it ever being that high before. Overall, we will definitely stay again, but rethink bringing our dog next time.

We were in town to see the Badgers soundly defeat Purdue and this hotel was a great place to stay. Comfy beds and pillows, clean, made to order breakfast, and friendly service.
