4th floor smelled of curry so someone is cooking in the hotel. Floor of my room was hard surfaced and there were sticky spots. Also large stain on the only piece of furniture in the room.

This hotel is a decent enough option for a weekend stay. A few things definitely need to be upgraded or fixed though. The beds are old and you can see the indents where people sleep. The floors are newer but you can tell they just swiffer mop around so the dirt is piled along the edges and under the furniture. So many crumbs and hair yuck!!! Our shower ceiling had a lot of black mold spots all over it and the bath was stained black that my son didn’t even want to use it. Gross!! Otherwise the lobby and pool area were large and made it easy to gather with friends. Breakfast was pretty decent too.

After about an hour of checking in, we noticed a huge bug on the curtain. We went down to the front desk and showed them. They said it was a lady bug. It definitely was not. They ended up switching our rooms. In the process, a cleaning staff knocked on the door, we answered and she wanted to see the bug. She ended up completely opening the door and started cleaning. We weren’t done getting our things together and I wasn’t even out of the bathroom properly dressed. No care that we weren’t ready to get out the room to switch yet. It was about 5 minutes after getting our rooms switched. The cleanliness wasn’t the best as well. Hair in the refrigerator and stains all over the bathtub. I will not be staying here again when returning to Madison, Wi.

Was a nice place front guy was great we had beetles in one of our rooms he moved us. Breakfast was good first place that had biscuit and gravy and the biscuit where soft and tasted good. Only other issue we had was while we were eating breakfast the maid went into our room and started cleani g so we couldnt use the room no more before we even checked out. Lucky we had 2 rooms so we could still shower. Was gonna let front desk know but no one was there
