Boughton Monchelsea is situated on the outskirts of Maidstone not far from Leeds Castle and Maidstone Centre which has a large variety of shops, cafés, bars, and restaurants suitable for all ages. In the surrounding areas there are plenty of country walks and cycling routes as well as traditional country pubs to stop at for a drink or lunch/dinner.
If you are interested in a semi-rural area in the heart of the garden of England this property makes an ideal base for a walking or touring holiday in Kent. Leeds Castle is just 10 minutes away. Whilst only 40 miles from Central London the beaches at Whitstable & Camber Sands are also only a short drive. Within easy reach are Canterbury, Rye, Rochester & Tunbridge Wells as are numerous National Trust properties (Chartwell, Knole, Sissinghurst, Scotney Castle & Bodiam).
