Generally a nice hotel, Natasja was very polite, informative at reception. We had a deluxe suite, which was not much bigger than a standard room. We had a sea view on the 19th floor, but the sea was quite a distance away and the view was an abandoned building beyond the hospital. In the room it was clean, complimentary drinks in the mini fridge, good powerful shower, toiletries, air con was average, we stayed 48’hours and could not get the temperature below 24. Bed was very comfortable. Outside the room, plenty of lofts, dining was a slight variation each day, typical hotel buffet food. There were a few small eateries on the ground floor and a 7/11. A little further is a deserted shopping mall, with few shops, but you can walk to Jonker Street in 10 minutes. Car parking was advertised as free but was actually 5 ringgit per 24 hours, but secure.
Overall good for the price, I can’t say there seemed ti be anything substantially better around.
