Staff were great, room was comfortable. Breakfast was in the price, and felt like. Ive read other reviews, saying the food wasnt but we had a pizza quite late at night and it was excellant. I didnt check on the locaton while booking, so my fault but assumed a hotel described as Malaga Airport would indeed be in Malaga Airport. Its not far and I walked back from dropping off the hire car, but not a walk with a wheelie suitcase, so took a taxi. Although I would no issues using the hotel again.

Convenient to Airport - Useful for Early Flights
Used the hotel for an overnight to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. It was great for this purpose. No mass transit before 6:30 AM so if you have an early flight you'd need a taxi for a VERY SHORT but overpriced ride to the airport (17 Euros for a 5-7 minute ride). 20-30 minute bus ride to the city center but the bus stop is near a highway in a barren spot. Need to walk through a deserted (at night) parking area to get to the hotel.

Great value for a stopover
The hotel is a bit out of the way and not walkable from the airport. However, its only 3 stops on the A bus. There's a set fee of 4 euros on the bus and it drops you off by a bridge where you cross the dual carriageway for the hotel. Fortunately there are no steps and, unless you have loads of luggage, the ramp is easy to negotiate. When I mentioned I got the bus, reception refunded my 4 euros for the ticket 😀 The hotel looks and feels a little dated but everything is clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a free buffet for breakfast with a wide variety of items including fresh fruit, yogurts, eggs, meat, cheese and excellent coffee. There is also a reasonably priced evening menu. I didnt have enough time to visit Malaga but could have taken the A bus just along from the hotel for 4euros.

The only problem you have is access to the property. Although it is next to the airport, the road where the GPS takes you is bad and if you enter from another place you can hardly see the entrance to the property because there is a car park.

Diana front desk very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, she’s an asset to the team 😇bus 5 , goes to city center , on left side of hotel cross blue bridge to bus stop , it will take you to city center where you can see the cathedral and alcazaba .
