Rooms have outdated furnishings, this place is stuck in the 90s. No air-conditioning, close to unusable rooms during the summer months. Some of the parking is remote and not quite convenient. Decent breakfast and nice staff.

You get what you pay for
Nice pool, decent breakfast, good location with lake view and free parking. Only really loud at night hence the overall ok rating. The building is old and you hear everything: people entering their room late at night (loud old school keys), flushing their toilet or closing windows. The room and bathroom are as clean as they could be given their age. Rusty and not fully maintained. So don't stay here if you are picky or have a light sleep. Otherwise great value for the money (100€/night during peak summer months)

Nice pool, shame about the bedroom
Just stayed at several hotels around Lake Garda, all similarly priced. In fact this one was slightly more expensive but definitely the worst value for money. The positives - The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. They gave good advice re Monte Baldo (get tickets from the bus station and go up before 09:30 to avoid queues). The pool was great. The view from the rear facing bedroom was fabulous (Monte Baldo - and the cemetery which looked surprisingly pretty at night). And the location was ok (slightly uphill at the back of town). The breakfast was edible. Oh and the bath towels were good. But all of that was undone by... The negatives - The bedroom was hugely disappointing. It possibly hadn’t been updated since the eighties - horrible yellow paint, chipped furniture, threadbare carpet, poor toiletries, shower so small the plastic curtain sticks to you (yuk!), broken hair blower thing (what are they about?). Come on Diana, your hotel’s got the potential to be great again. Spend some money on upgrading the rooms. And while you’re at it repaint the hallways - and get rid of the borders!

Fair hotel close to the town and lake
The Diana is not a luxury hotel, but it is not bad. It is not especially well appointed, the rooms are basic but not uncomfortable. On the plus side the views from the rooms and balcony are spectacular, especially on the lake side. The breakfast buffet was large and generous.

We stayed Jul 2013 for a couple of days before moving on north. Location for us was great. 2 mins walk from the centre. Room not bad, as expected. Decor a bit dated but clean. Had 307. Top floor right at the end south facing. Was a great a view of mountains and lake and sun all day. Almost private balcony as those on the 'lake view' mostly shared balconies. Breakfast plenty to choose from. Parking was tight but given an additional key for an extra parking the hotel owned up the road, still very close and much larger. Staff were not great! Not unfriendly but certainly didn't go out of thier way to be helpful! For the time we were there it was good, would go again for another short break.

Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit Innenausstattung der 80er. Es liegt ca 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Zentrum Malcesine. Wie fast überall in der Region geht es etwas bergauf zum Hotel. Das Personal vor Ort ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksauswahl ist vollkommen ok. Schwierig - keine Klimaanlage. Ein kleiner Ventilator steht aber im Zimmer.

Positivt att det var så nära till den mycket mysiga gamla staden med alla restauranger och barer och underbara bad i Gardasjön. Saknade ac på rummet, en nödvändighet i värmebölja men fläkt fanns att låna som tur var. Underbart vacker utsikt från balkong mot Gardasjön.

Fantastisk beliggenhed dejlig morgenmad fin pool dejlig balkon- desværre måtte vi aflevere vore pas ved indrejse og fik dem ikke retur ved afrejse vi opdagede det først ved næste hotel og måtte 2.5 time tilbage det var den feriedag !!!

Alles in allem ok
Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr gut. Nicht mittendrin, aber nah dabei. Räume sehr klein und etwas abgewohnt. Sehr hellhörig und nicht picobello sauber. Alles in allem, für den Preis in dieser Lage durchaus in Ordnung.

Das Hotel liegt nah am Zentrum von Malcesine, gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Parkplatz auf dem Nachbargrundstück, nachts verschlossen. Die Zimmern sind einfach eingerichtet mit kleinen Balkon, Frühstück Ok, die Poolanlage schön. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das gesamte Hotel ist super sauber !
