Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Guests are advised to check local road conditions/closures before travel with the California Department of Transportation at www.dot.ca.gov or by calling 800-427-7623.

The location and room were nice but the walls are paper thin. People next door just talking felt like they were in the same room. They woke me up several times. For 300-400 a night during ski season, with a minimum 4 nights stay, it’s an extreme rip off! They take advantage of the great location by the village and over charge for a pathetically built building.

Lodge was very clean, quiet, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Fridge was noisy but, easy to unplug since we had nothing to put in. Staff did offer to bring ice bags. Good location. Would return.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is old style but quite charming and comfortable. Location is convenient to many tourist destinations.

Construction outside the property was noisy (not due to anything the owners could prevent). Would like to have a microwave in unit. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay. accessibility features were good.

Queen bed actually was a double bed. 2 of 3 pillows were like sandbags.The room was spotless and smelled very fresh! The grounds were very well groomed and up to snuff. While having little interaction with staff they were fine. Would we stay again? YES.

Comfortable stay
Comfortable 4 day stay. Within walking distance of the annual Bluesapalooza music fest, the reason for my trip. In room amenities of coffee and refrig. Microwave available in main building basement. Free WiFi worked well. Decent TV menu. Free parking. No air conditioner, but oscillating fan cooled room adequately. Reasonable price considering it's vacation season and its proximity to the aforementioned event. My second year staying here, will book again next year.
