Best unit in the Village Lodge resort. Our reviews say it all.
Updated 3 bedroom, 3 bath top floor unit in the heart of the Village at Mammoth has everything you need for every season. The elevator access in our building is much better for those going to the Gondola / Village plaza compared any other Village building.
2 Bedrooms are en suites. Accommodates up to 8 or so people in your choice of 9 Beds (2 Cal Kings, 6 Bunk Twins, 1 Sofa Queen) and is just steps to winter/summer activities, restaurants, shops, and more. A lot of units claim to be ski-in/ski-out and we have the best location in the Village but we don't claim that. It is true that you could use the ski-back trail during certain times of the year or you have the Gondola right outside our balcony, but we we want to under-promise and over-deliver.
All Village Lodge units have just one parking pass assigned and you can potentially get 2 parking passes depending on resort availability. Other nearby parking is available. In the winter, just park the car and leave it parked. For most of the ski season, just walk a few steps to the Village Gondola or walk across the street to the last shuttle stop before the Main Lodge. In the summer, watch concerts, fireworks, or other shows from the balcony or engage in any of the Village activities, festivals, restaurants, shops, biking, hiking, water sports, and more. No pets, no smoking in unit or on balcony please. Please note that our unit is right in the heart of the village, so you can be part of just about everything. That may mean a little more noise, but just close the windows and shades if you want to block it all out and relax.
The unit has fast Wifi and a good size kitchen. Unit is on the top floor (4th) but just a short walk to the elevator. The Gondola runs through high ski season (shuts down around mid-April), but the last shuttle stop to the Main Ski Lodge is just across the street. During the summer, the bike shuttle stop is just a few steps from the elevator doors. It does not get more convenient than this!
