Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Guests are advised to check local road conditions/closures before travel with the California Department of Transportation at www.dot.ca.gov or by calling 800-427-7623.

I loved everything about this property. It is a true gem! Already planning to come back during the winter. For my first time in Mammoth, I have to say that this property made it a very memorable trip. It far exceeded my expectations and I’m telling everyone about it!

We stayed in an upper unit apartment near the blue crepe food truck. It had two bedrooms, a large bathroom and was away from the construction zone, so it was a great option for two people with dogs. The apartment was well equipped though not over the top with a lovely balcony and view of the mountains. We never had any trouble with noise And it was very clean. There was no table to eat at or work at so if that’s an issue, that is something to consider. The heated pool and the hot tub were lovely even in 60° temperatures. The Outbound is walking distance to many Restaurants and bars, and shops. I’d highly recommend staying here. It is dog friendly, and has seating areas outside with fire pits. There is also a bar and restaurant on site with satisfactory food and friendly staff.

This hotel had construction noise all the way to 12:30 pm as a was trying to sleep, and the room only had two outlets. To make matters worse the ac did not work. And they charged a resort fee after you with Expedia.

The hotel was pretty but it’s hard to judge the staff during low season. I had a hard time getting served food at the restaurant on the property and although they provide complimentary s'mores, the front desk lady was annoyed I asked for some. I loved the room except a broken closet thing. Parking is close and the room was comfy and clean.

If you have an allergy for dust mites or mold, please skip this old property. The smell in the room is horrible and tortured me for two nights. The parking lot is unpaved. The landline phone doesn’t work in the room. The room door can’t be locked when I checked in around 9:30 pm.
