Excellent staff
Room very large
Hotel look so a bit tired and showing it’s age
Beds not so comfortable, springs creak and pop and are uneven
Still, ok for the price and close enough too malls
I had a problem with the aircon in my room. The Hotel Manager on front desk was a lovely lady. Really caring and put the problem right on the spot. Gave me another room and helped me move my luggage.
Good value for the price.
Cafe workers aren't friendly at all.

Just right for 1 or 2 days
Receptionist not that friendly. Good breakfast. Room small but clean. Shared toilet and shower very hot like youre in a sauna. Close to evrything. Easy to find.
In my more than 3 weeks of stay, SERVICE was excellent and very professional. Staff were very helpful and very courteous, specially Ms. Amor Cantilla the manager who has great public relations. Rooms and Lobby's were very clean. Perfect amenities and great location. Price is just right. Exceeded my expectations. Would recommend to my friends in the US.
Staffs are friendly and accomodating but I think the hotel needs to be renovated. I cant even have a comfortable sleep at night cause the rooms is stuffy and the a/c need to be replaced.
The breakfast that is included was terrible It was inedible. This needs to be improved

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Cheap and reasonably cheerful.
"You get what you pay for" is very accurate here. Roon not as nice as pics. A little dirty and bathroom dingy and dirty.
Staff were good and helpful.
Breakfast not at all good for foreigners as there was no real choice apart from local dishes which is fine but the quality of the food was below par.
Great for a couple of days if budget is important.

dont book the economy room
the economy room was so small that i couldnt even stretch out full length on the bed.
there are 8-10 'rooms' crammed into one normal size hotel room and you can hear everyone scratching, breathing and whatever else they're doing.
it was so hot in there that i went to complain and they said I could upgrade to a better room. felt like i'd been scammed to be honest.
the second room i had was fine but at 1200 it should be.
the 'closet' as i called it was not fit for a dog.
I stayed in a budget room with shared bathroom. All was as described. Central location. Good clean facilities with very helpful staff who were absolutely fantastic when an airport taxi driver tried to charge me PHP 780 instead of the PHP 200 it should have been. He did not get away with it!

value for money
The family room that I booked was larger than I expected. The beds were big but the mattress felt like they needed to be replaced already. The bathroom was ok but the tiles made it looked dirty. The place was not hard to find but we were unfortunate that the street leading to the inn from the Dela Rosa side was under construction which made parking a little difficult.

Budget-friendly and clean
Place is matching budget, don't expect any miracles.
The hostel as a whole is reasonable value for money in Manila, however the single budget rooms are worse than any hostel Ive stayed in. The gap at the top of the room is about a foot, next to it runs spotlights in the corridor, basically your room is lit up all night. The temperature of the room cannot be adjusted as the aircon unit between the rooms cannot be changed. Very noisy with people coming and going and the walls being very thin. Wifi unavailable in rooms only in lobby, very bad connection there. Staff on the whole are okay, the guys who work the door and overnight were really good but some of the reception staff in the day seemed uninterested. Security was good. Cleanliness was average. Better to pay a couple hundred more pesos when in Manila.
No drama with check in. They provide airport transfers. Clean room with coffee making facilities, shared bathroom but no problem and breakfast included in the great rate. Couldn't ask for more.

Value for money
The hostel has its value for money. If you are staying only for a short time with no beyond expectation requirements, then this is good for you.
