The rooms have been upgraded very recently. (And are VERY nice) The shower could use the S-pipe to raise the shower head and a curved curtain rod.

Very tall beds
Overall my stay was fine. Very quiet. My only issue was the bed was so high (like top of the mattress was approx. 30 inches above the floor) that short old me found it very difficult to get up and into. That is really my only complaint.

The property is newly renovated and the smell of the paint is STRONG!!! They look nice tho. The air worked great, bathroom was small but everything worked and it was clean, bed was comfy and clean ( no signs of bed bugs ) mini fridge and microwave worked. 1 Major complaint they should not even advertise they have a continental breakfast. 3 mini muffins, 3 old slices of bread, & 3 bagels is NOT a breakfast. I suppose it's the thought that counts. Overall tho we did sleep well and thankfully I bought Jimmy Dean sandwiches for breakfast. For the price I would stay here again

Staff was very friendly, room had alot of beetles, and the toilet wasn't properly bolted to the floor. The continental breakfast was a couple bagels, a couple muffins and 6 donut holes. Coffee was good though. All in all not horrible but deffenitly could be better.

Nice initial appearance. Just don’t look close or you’ll see the old screw homes unfilled and the less than professional drywall repairs. I blame the work crew for their poor craftsmanship. The mirror and shower head were too low for my 6’2” frame. Bed was comfortable. There’s very little to do in Manistique other than stare at the water and ride your ORV. It’s not a vacation destination, but more of a hub. Any kind of recreation, retail and dining is a minimum 70 miles away. I would recommend Wheatley’s in downtown for drinks and appetizers. The small casino nearby is a smoke filled disappointment.
