This is such a delightful property!
We stayed in early September 2024 and could not have had better weather for watching the sunrise from the porch, cooking dinner on the grill, and gazing at the stars at night. The home is comfortable and well stocked with bed, bath, and kitchen basics, supplying nearly everything you could need. The adjacent properties are screened by trees, lending a feeling of privacy and solitude. Pay heed to the warnings about GPS devices being spotty and double-check your device’s directions against a detailed visual map before hitting the road to make sure you’re being taken where you need to go—and not to/along an unimproved Jeep trail!

Family vacation
This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. We stayed with our adult children, a total of 7 of us and we had plenty of room. It is located a 15 minute drive down dirt roads, which is pretty typical for an upper Peninsula cabin, no other people where staying in the area at the time, so it was private, however there are neighbors that are close. The lake is perfect for sunrises, and listening to waves as you sleep. The beds are comfortable and there a black out curtains if waki g with the sun is not your thing. It is not great for swiming as it is very rocky, however you can can rock hunt with a good pair of water shoes it is very shallow. My only issue was there was not a lot of room to unpack your things, as the dresser are used for storage. There is only 1 small trash can outside, which barely hold 2,13 gallon bags and it is not very animal secure.

Wonderful Lake House
We had four generations under one roof. The location of this cabin is off the beaten path, but within driving distance to so many great places! We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful cabin on the lake!

Great cabin in the UP
The place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The area is absolutely beautiful. We did run into a bit of trouble finding the property st first as it is a very remote area. Would highly recommend if you are planning a trip to the UP.

Peaceful Waterfront Retreat
Upon arrival there were a few minor cleaning matters that needed to be addressed, however it was attended to immediately by the owner and Lynn. Again these were minor issues resolved immediately. Only reason I mention it is because I feel it's important to know how attentive the owners and Lynn are! Five of us were on this trip ages from 11-74. There was something for all of us at this property! The property is beautifully set down a quiet dirt road on Lake Michigan. We enjoyed campfires by the lake and sunsets and sunrises on the porch. The kids found abundant amounts of crayfish on the beach. This home had everything we needed for cooking in. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was good enough for my husband to do some work along with using our personal Roku for television for Grandpa. Overall the accommodations were perfect for our family getaway. We were within an hour to hour and a half drive to Picture Rocks which was well worth the drive. We definitely recommend this property for all those looking for a quiet and peaceful place to retreat to.

Nice quiet place
Comfortable secluded home and setting. Well furnished. We enjoyed the waterfront view, sunrises, deer in the yard, and starry night sky. And the WiFi was good.

Remote Serenity!
The host was very communicative and gave us lots of helpful tips. The view of the lake was beautiful and the area very peaceful. The beds were comfortable and even the towels were great! The screened in porch and fire pit were a great bonus. We loved our little piece of heaven!
