Had a very good stay, the property is exactly what you would expect for the area. It's clean, quiet, has a very nice pool and bar. Staff was very friendly and approachable. The bartenders at the lobby bar were my favorite. They were always smiling and making conversation with everyone. They definitely made everyone feel welcomed. There was only one time that a front desk agent was a bit rude and snippy but I didn't stay with him long.

We were treated like rock stars at the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella: VIP check-in, upgrade to a view room and access to casino and Balinese beds by the pool. This resort hotel with all the fixings was such a nice break from the hotels in tourist hotspots, we’ve been staying in on our Andalusia trip. The excellent lobby bar had live music and the breakfast buffet was sumptuous.

Friendly and accommodating staff. They were all very responsive to any questions and willing to help. I read other reviews regarding the credit card hold. While they do retain a credit card during your stay to cover any incidentals, ours was released as soon as we checked out. Honestly, I don't understand how the hold is a shock to anyone or why anyone would think they could pay in cash for a hotel room. The room was spacious (we had the Gold suite) and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was impressive and the food was fresh.
