Tämä upea, hiljattain remontoitu 2,500 m²: n 4-kertainen, 3 kylpy koti sijaitsee Buchanan-järvellä ja tarjoaa kauniit näkymät järvelle kaikista huoneista. Se on täydellinen pakopaikka perheellesi, joka haluaa kalastaa, lähteä veneilyyn tai vaikka haluat vain vähän rauhaa ja hiljaista pakoa. Seuraa kaunista kävelytietä (valmistettu pihallamme olevista kallioista ja paikallisesti) takapihallamme päästäksesi järvelle. Ehkä haluat mieluummin roikkua mihinkään suurista tammimme puitteista. Kun kävelet sisään, sinua viehättävät näkymät järvelle. Seuraa bambusta lattiat pääkerroksen läpi löytääksesi täysikokoisen vieraskylpyhuoneen, ison olohuoneen ja avoimen konseptin. Suuri alue viihdyttäville vieraille ja keittiö, jossa on pannuja, pannuja, astiat ja paljon muuta. Kaikki mitä tarvitset kokata mukava ateria. Kävele yläkerrassa löytää lisää 2 makuuhuonetta ja 1 kylpyhuone. Kylpyhuoneessa on kylpyamme / suihku-yhdistelmä ja 2 pesuallasta. Ensimmäinen makuuhuone on erinomainen perheellesi. Siinä on täysikokoinen vuode ja kerrossänky. Löydät kauniit näkymät järvelle ikkunoista. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on 1 queen-size-vuode ja 2 erillistä vuodetta upealla näköalalla järvelle. Voitteko kuvitella heräämällä ja katselemalla ikkunaa nähdäksesi veden? Se on ihanaa!

Kävele alakerrassa pääkerroksesta ja löydä neljäs makuuhuone, jossa on sohva ja BRAND NEW -kaappi. Nyt voimme majoittaa myös 4 henkeä pohjakerroksessa.

Great Location - Some Things Not As Nice As Could Be for 10 Rating

We stayed at this lake house for a weekend with cousins and had a great time overall. The living room was very comfortable for hanging out, and having separate HVAC systems for each floor was a big plus—it kept the house comfortable throughout. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with.That said, there were a few drawbacks. The grill was messy and difficult to use precisely, and there was no speaker setup for music (no Bluetooth or Sonos). WiFi was very slow, which made streaming or working difficult. The downstairs level felt a bit disconnected from the rest of the house, and there was no soap in the showers when we arrived. Kitchen utensils were also pretty limited, which made cooking a little more effort than expected.All in all, it was a good stay with some room for improvement. We'd consider coming back with the right expectations.

July to Remember

My family and I had the pleasure of renting Heathers home for the month of July. We are a large family of 12 total and there was plenty of space for everyone to crash when they were there. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will ever need. I was pleasantly surprised to find a water cooler to be able to use even though we brought tons of water bottles. Beds are comfortable and so are the linens. Internet is horrible so take advantage of her DVD collection and bring some from home. We spent lots of time playing games, swimming in the lake, fishing and watching movies. Communication with host was top notch. Looking forward to staying here again!

Perfect Lake house

Nice area

House is very nice. Lots of rules but most easy to follow. Lake is very, very low, but still nice views and area has lots of hills and cliffs and ricks to climb. Sleeps a big group comfortably. Communication easy and prompt. Wifi limited but adequate for light usage and streaming. Enjoyed the local state parks, lots of good exploring and hiking. Limited restaurants but good grocery store in Burnet.

Memorial Day weekend

Hope to be back!

The property host was always super responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. We loved the house. It is beautiful and has a gorgeous view of the lake that takes your breathe away when you first walk in. The location is perfect too. We spent most of our time floating in the water, a stones throw from the house, or sitting on the back porch chatting. We didn’t turn on a TV the entire stay. We also utilized the proximity of the property to other hill country favorites, hiking up about an hour north to Colorado Bend state park for a morning hike to Gormon Falls and also grabbing BBQ at the famous Coopers BBQ in Llano, tx about 45 minutes west. We definitely hope to be back one day with more kids in tow to enjoy the water!

Lake House

We stayed here with extended family - 10 of us total with 4 kids (ages 1-3). The place was very clean and accommodated us all well. Beds were comfy and kitchen was nice for cooking some meals in. The lake views are gorgeous! All of the added kid/family stuff such as the pack and plays, high chair, and toys were a huge plus for our group. The older kids and adults had fun on the lake with the paddle boards and kayaks. Would recommend for any group!

Lovely family vacation

The house is beautiful and spacious we all had a few battle wounds from the rocky area getting in the lake, so make sure to bring your water shoes. Also we brought a canopy for the dock, it helped alot! It was an awesome vacation!

Family Trip at Lake Buchanan

I have three grown kids, who are married and have 4 grandchildren. We had one extra teenager for one night. One of our group brought two boats. E had a wonderful time together.

We had a nice group this trip to Lake Buchanan. This home was perfect for us! Plenty of room for 8 adults (4 couples) 6 kiddos (7 months to 5 years old). It was a challenge to follow the septic rules of no toilet paper with the little ones, but we managed. Bring a pop up tent to hang out on the dock!

Good place to stay.

Property was very nice. Had a great view to enjoy coffee off the balcony. Wish the kayaks and Paddle boats came with the price of the stay since there is a 3 night minimum. There is a lot of additional cost to use the amenities. Overall good place to stay.

Easter Holiday Weekend

The property is very well kept and accommodated 11 of us very nicely. A deck spanning the width of the house is a great outdoor space overlooking the lake. The steps down to the dock require good balance and careful stepping. We used the kayaks and paddle boat. Swimming off the dock was great fun for all of us. The A/C went out on one hot night so we had to relocate 4 adults and 4 children downstairs.. Fortunately, we had brought an inflatable mattress and that was a big help. We enjoyed an Ester egg hunt on the morning of our departure and that wrapped up a fun holiday weekend for our family.

If your looking for a place to stay on the lake, this is it. Great location and the property has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed the bbq pit on the porch overlooking the lake and watching the kids fish off the dock.

Modern lake home directly on Lake Buchanan with GREAT views!

We spent a month here in January 2022 to be close to family that we wanted an extended visit with and this home was everything we needed. Beautifully designed and kept, we had everything we needed for mini-milestone birthdays in the family, weekend visits and board game nights with cousins and siblings. The home is spacious and modern in design and was fit out with everything we needed to host our family meals. The best part was the views from the balcony of course - the sunrise and sunsets were different every day and the daily deer visits, cranes and swan stole the show. When the temps were cooler, the Nest thermostats were easy to use and kept the home warm and the gas fireplace was a cozy bonus for quieter nights. There are two balconies that span the width of the entire home overlooking the lake - on the main level you access it thru two separate sliders off the kitchen/living area - this was used daily and large enough for tables and outdoor eating and the hosts had a gas grill available; The 2nd balcony is on the lower level where the private suite is and is just as large - this was used to primarily store the life jackets and paddles, etc. We were fortunate enough to have mostly good weather in January and we had canoes we were able to take out and do a little fishing. The stairs going down to the dock are steep but there are railings and they are comfortably wide with benches and fire pit at one of the terraced areas. I worked remotely during this time and a Verizon hotspot kept my video calls going as this location in Burnet isn't serviced with high speed service just yet; AT&T cell service was a hit on the balcony corner only despite there being a cell tower close by. The closest grocery store was HEB and when we went out, we really enjoyed Torr Na Lochs vineyard for sunset views over the hill country and small bites, wine and their dark chocolate-pecan-toffee (you're welcome!). Our hosts were always responsive with suggestions and recommendations; We highly recommend the home , these hosts and hope to be back more often.
