We experienced some issues with the property. Walked into room and went to the bathroom, door handle fell off French door to the bathroom. Used the toilet. Toilet would not work for approximately 24 hrs. This all happened within the first 5 minutes in the room. We had to go find bathrooms in public areas in middle of night. 2 nights later, the smoke detector batteries expired and we listened to “low battery” voice and beep every 10 minutes for half the night. Obviously couldn’t sleep. The toaster handle/knob was broken. The sliding door does not lock. We had to battle with the customer care reps to get paper towels, toilet paper, and a blanket. The big sticking point seemed to be the paper towels. We were told that is why extra toilet paper was left in the room? Really? We were told repeatedly when we asked hotel staff for supplies to call Vacasa. We were denied early check-in approximately 4 times and I had to stay with my rental vehicle for approximately 4 hours straight to avoid getting towed from other lots (were not allowed into the parking garage). One knob on the stove is different that the other three. It was difficult to tell if the burner was set to the correct temperature. We appreciate that the room was clean and air conditioner worked well until Saturday morning. It became very humid in the room. The register vents were clean but the furnace/ac filters were very dirty. Please make sure that I get a refund for a minimum of two nights stay.
