Do not reply to this if you are statf
Extremely overpriced for what you get. Pillows smelled a little, otherwise very clean. Breakfast was OK and the hotel is beautiful. However, the staff are non committal (I sliced my arm open on a door bolt and asked if she had any antiseptic cream or wipes or even a plaster, and she smiled and said no and walked off. That’s pathetic).

Lovely riad with well appointed rooms
Lovely riad with beautiful rooms and nice roof terrace, Spotlessly clean. Quite a long walk to the main square and souks, but a lovely less touristy area. The bus station and grand taxi rank are nearby. Apparently I was expected to pay on arrival but I wasnt told this and this caused some confusion. Every other place that I stayed I paid on check out, so clearer communication about this would have been good.

Helpful, personal service in a traditional riad
Riad dar Tuscia offers traditional, authentic accommodation in a corner of the medina that is a short walk to many major visitor sites. A hammam and spa services are available, as well as Moroccan cooking classes upon request.

The staff and accommodation are great. It is easy to access from one of the main gates around the city. Completely safe area. Great breakfast and rooms. The owner will provide a cooking class if you ask.

Basic riad clean and simple
Not anything to write home about. Basic breakfast of dried bread, olives and jam and only mint tea. No milk or eggs Hotel tried to charge me in local currency which gives them an advantage over euro. They also charged more than the advertised tax which is about €6 not €4.59 advertised by hotels.com

Fuzia at the Riad kept in contact from start to finish and was extremely helpful throughout my stay. A beautiful Riad within 2 minute walk of taxi rank. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit

Very good, budget Riad overall!
Very good Riad overall - the neighborhood is not great, but that's expected if you book on the outskirts as we did. On the upside, it was very close to the bus station and a supermarket to get some essentials. The hostess was really good and very helpful - she helped us with a problem we had with a local sightseeing tour by calling the agent and finding our the information for us. We also had no problem with asking for some boiling water as we got into drinking mint tea every night after buying some mint in the market. The breakfast was good but not too varied. There was no daily room cleaning - we stayed for a week and not that we needed any cleaning, but some toiletry top ups/fresh towels could have helped. Overall - a great Riad to stay in if you are on a budget and prefer a more 'wild' experience as opposed to the 'all inclusive' options that come at an extra cost.

Good hotel on the edge of Medina
This was our final hotel out of 4 that me and my wife were staying in for our honeymoon, whilst we went from, Marrakech, to Casablanca, to Rabat, then back to Marrakech. Out of the 4 hotels, this is high on cleanliness and comfort for a Riad. However the 'Full Breakfast' paid for was a quarter glass of orange juice with a bread and 2 pancakes that were the size of a Jacobs cracker and tastes like it too. Even the milk for our coffee was limited so I had to have a black coffee, which I don't like. The staff were friendly but manager tried to overcharge at end of stay, stating a ridiculous high exchange rate that was 2 Dirhams higher to each Euro. After showing official exchange rate and asking where she got the rate, manager states that was the previous days rate, which it wasn't as I exchanged currency daily and the rate only changed 0.12 Dirham. Any who be vigilant and be aware of overcharging and demand a full breakfast, something we should have done. Also don't use the massage and hamman facilities, it's just conducted by a worker at the riad and not a professional, even though price is not cheap.

bad option in Marrakesh
Pretty terrible experience. Awful staff, old worn mattress that sinks in the middle, broken furniture, and horrible breakfast (just a little toast with coffee and a shot glass of orange juice). Hot water and water pressure in shower was great, Wi-Fi OK when it worked, and nice upstairs roof area for relaxing/smoking.

Lovely Riad
Lovely Riad. I arrived via train from Casablanca and once I called the hotel sent a cab to pick me up. You can also take a cab for about 40 Dihrams to the gate closest (Bab El Arset) to the Riad. Then its a a short walk. It's about a 30 minute walk from there to Jemma El Fin. The room was very clean and the wifi service was reliable.

We were so blessed to have chosen this Riad
If you are considering choosing this riad. Do not hesitate. Book it now. I just came back from a weeks stay with a friend and we were blessed to have stayed here. I cannot say anything negative about it. It is in the middle of the old town, down little alley ways. You will really get to experience the real Marrakech way of life. I never felt threatened or afraid as we nearly always walked home late at night. A lovely breakfast each morning. The lady was so helpful. She couldn't do enough for us but was not in our face. Make sure you get them to book the taxi for you from the airport as it is hard to find it the first time. The taxi driver was sitting at the outside door at the airport. Took a while to find him so watch out for that. They also have free WiFi at the riad and a beautiful roof terrace. Its about 15/20 minute walk to main square. I would certainly stay here again.

Very welcoming Ryad
We arrived at the Ryad around 11.30 a.m. after being picked up by the very lovely driver from the Airport. We sat for a few minutes in the courtyard area whilst the lady finished cleaning our room. I went on my own with my two children, aged 7 and 9 and the room was perfect for us, very spacious and clean with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was provided, bread, jam, croissants or pancakes and coffee and hot chocolate for the kids. I chose to eat there in the evenings and Naima cooked us the most amazing meals followed by mint tea. Naima spoke very good English and I spoke to her every morning to ask how to get to everywhere we wanted to go. The best advice she gave me is if you get lost follow the wall!! (This is the perimeter wall that splits the new and old Medinas). Naima even walked out with me one day to point out the local supermarket, which is roughly a 5-10 minute walk away. We went in April thinking the temperature would be around 25 degrees, it was in fact 35 degrees and the Ryad provided respite from the very hot weather and hecticness of Marrakesh. There was a lovely roof terrace with sofas, tables and chairs. This was a great place to gaze at the stars at night. I must admit that when we first ventured out I did feel slightly overwhelmed, but The Moroccan people are so friendly, I soon relaxed and felt completely safe and at ease even at night walking with the kids. We had the most amazing time in Marrakesh and I hope to return very soon.

Riad tuscia
Lovely riad run by an absolutely lovely woman. Very clean and well run. Like most Riads in the medina it was difficult to find. Request directions in advance. There are many youths in the neighborhood willing to direct you, for a price.

Far from medina but clean and comfortable
This riad is located about 1.2 miles from Place Djemma El Fna, so it was a trek every day and not convenient to get back to for bathroom use or just to relax in the middle of the day. Also, we were told the earliest we could have breakfast was 8am, and even when we asked for it at 8am, we would still need to wait 30 minutes after going downstairs. However, it was a great price and very clean and comfortable, a fantastic central heater in the room that kept it toasty.

Nice small Riad
The hotel was really nice. There was only 5 bedrooms so not big place. Staff was really nice and didn´t bother you if you didn´t want to talk with them. There was good internet connection and also computer if you didn´t have your own with you. Staff speaks also english well. There is roof terrace wich was nice, you can take sun there in your own peace. The view from the roof terrace is not that nice but it´s because the location (old city area) buildings are so close each others. There is common area in the first floor and hammah room in roof terrace. Every morning you get breakfast. Coffee/mint te, bread, jam, butter and some sweet pastry. You can have your breakfast any time you want. In the rooms there is good size bed, shower was nice, air conditioning/heating system, and rooms are really clean. Every room is different and unique and we loved our room. We spent a lot of time there because it was raining almost every day of our trip. You can also ask transportation from airport to the hotel (10€). And you can book trips and etc. from the hotel and they will organize those for you.

Clean, comfortable riad
Pros: Super friendly, helpful staff Small, only 5 rooms I think Gorgeous inside Room was large, AC, comfortable Airport shuttle provided Breakfast provided Easy walk to main square They'll book excursions for you Cons: Really really hard to find. Even with the airport shuttle they provided, the walk inside the medina to get to it was fairly complicated. Neighborhood doesn't seem super safe after dark Overall, I was really happy with my stay here and would recommend it over one of the large tourist resorts.

Service offhand, location poor
The riad itself is fine, nice courtyard with birds nesting, ok roof terrace, rooms fine with good showers, but could have done with somewhere to sit other than the bed. On arrrival we weren't shown to the room, she just pointed. Food ok but extremely slow, we ate in twice, it was pretty expensive for what we had and we had to wait until 9.00. No alcohol permitted. Breakfast - orange juice, coffee, a pancake, a croissant and bread and jam. first day at 8.30, getting later until it was 10.15. No welcome tea, no hamam offered as per the website. Location in poor residential area near NW wall, nowhere to go for a wee walk as just very narrow alleys swarming with kids and nothing at all to look at, or busy dusty main road in the other direction. 20 min walk to square by going along walls. BUT there are supermarkets nearby, and the Jardins Majorelle. And it is pretty cheap compared to other places in more touristy areas of the medina
