The reception desk and manager went above and beyond to help us fix a problem we were having paying our taxi driver. The manager even walked to the nearest ATM with us. They were exceptional

Stayed four nights. I had a corner room. I didn't think all noises are coming from hotel guests. It was from drunk people outside late at night. Yes, I am talking around 2 am, the bars closing time. Happened every night I stayed. Bathroom was smallest I've seen. However nice people at reception desk and breakfast buffet attendants made up the flaw. Enjoyed breakfast every morning. I didn't have time to use onsen?big bath tub? I had a hard time adjusting the faucet though. May be it was just me.

A couple on Christmas vacation
We stayed at this hotel for one night between Christmas and New Year's. The room was a little cold, because the window was open slightly at first. We shut the window, but it was still letting in some cold air. The parking area is a garage across the street from the hotel. It isn't free, but it's close to the castle entrance and it was convenient to leave the car there as we explored the area. The breakfast was ok, but not the best you'll eat. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and guided us on where to see the castle at night, and we were able to get some great pictures of the castle at night thanks to his advice.

nice sleepy relaxed town.
Stop over on travelling around the coast line. A good 10 minute walk from station. Great food in the area. A few minutes walk from the hotel on the corner is a fresh fish restaurant that was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Ishikawa udon shop for lunch. A boat trip to the island Honjima is a must from this port. In front of the station is a great art gallery you must visit too!

APA Marugame recommended. Service staff great!
We got a great price for this hotel for Sunday and Monday night. Great place to stay. Lots of comforts. The twin bed was a bit narrow for my wife and I. I would suggest 2 twin beds or larger queen if available. They offered 2 twin beds but it cost extra and we didn't select that option. Overall great hotel and would recommend. Centrally located to all Marugame which is a sweet town.

Convenient and very pleasant helpful staff. The whole hotel was in need of sprucing up compared to all other places (9) that we stayed in throughout Japan. Although clean it was drab and disappointing
