It offers great value and sleeps up to 10 guests. The third floor makes a great space for the little ones to spend quality time together. The smaller of the two rooms has a single bed while the larger room offers stunning sea views and three single beds, the top floor makes an ideal kid’s den. The second-floor houses two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and the main family bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. On the first floor you’ll find a double bedroom and a good-sized living room with easy seating, open fire and smart TV with Netflix. Perfect for relaxing after a day of fun and excitement. The ground floor is home to a spacious open plan L-shaped kitchen and diner, leading to an enclosed garden at the rear. The kitchen is brand new and comes with everything you need for your self-catering break, but with many restaurants on hand the last thing you’ll want to do is cook!
The property is located just a two-minute stroll into the town centre of Maryport which is home to all the usual high street stores but also a good selection of bars, restaurants, pubs serving local ales and independent coffee shops and cafés. Maryport also has a lovely beach to walk the dogs and a nice harbour. Maryport is located on the Northwest Cumbrian coast and overlooks the Solway and the mountains of southern Scotland. Just a few miles to the north is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a long stretch of sandy beaches. To the south is the popular town of Whitehaven with its bustling harbour and town centre. If you like culture and history why not visit the Senhouse Roman Museum (½ mile), or if you want more up to date entertainment, The Wave Centre features a large cinema, climbing walls and heritage centre (0.4 miles). If you like walking and cycling, there are a good number of cycle routes locally. Of course, if you want some more challenging climbs, you can easily access the Lake District National Park. You are equal distance to both Bassenthwaite, where you’ll find The Lakes Distillery and The Lake District Wildlife Park, and Loweswater, home to the famous Kirkstile Inn where you can treat yourself to a pint of Loweswater Gold.
