The house is located in a characterstic hamlet,
near the village of Massa Martana, considered one fo the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Originaly built partly in 1300 AD and partly in 1800 AD, it's been totally restored some years ago, preserving the shape and charm of the ancient countryside homes.
On the ground floor there are 2 entrances, one from the hamlet, the other from the garden, and a service toilet.
On the first floor a large, luminous and panoramic living room, with an open kitchen, a dining space and a big fire place.
Then a hallway leading to a bathroom with shower.
A wooden staircase takes to a pretty mansard, which is a double bedroom. A studio and a second double bedroom follows.
The third bedroom has a bathroom en suite and a wardrobe area.
The house is very quite and fresh in the summer, as the ancient walls are made by stone and incredibly thick.
The garden is private, cool and quite, with big trees, there it is possible to enjoy the beauty and the calm of the countryside.
Massa Martana offers nice shops selling excellent local food, oil and wine.
Then 10 minutes to reach Todi, 30 minutes to Spoleto, Foligno, Orvieto, Perugia, Montefalco, where art, history and fantastic food are all mixed together.
The Umbria region is famous for its local and genuine food, like wine, olive oil, cheese, meat, truffle, etc.
In the area there are many good restaurants serving special traditional dishes.
There are also many swimming pools around, one very closed to the house, in Massa Martana. Very easy to play golf or ride horses.
