Stay longer if possible, such a beautiful place.
We were quite shocked in a good way when we checked in. The condition, facility and decor were so beautiful. I would call it luxury apartment. Probably this is the first apartment I stayed in Italy which was not ruined by cheap plastic IKEA furniture. Room was spacious, the bathroom was also big. Every single details was well designed and thoughtful. The host also gave us a little tour of cave underneath and it was quite fascinating. We wanted to stay longer… the location was also great. It’s not middle of stairs so it was so easy to carry our suitcases. (You can’t drag the trolley in Matera)

Superior apartment
Every detail of the apartment was superior. It had no kitchen or washer but the apartment is so nice that we didn't care about those things. It was a true pleasure just to stay there. It's location in the Sassi made our visit much easier than expected. Giuseppe was a gracious host explaining about the Sassi and his growing up in the area. He showed us the cave and cistern under the apartment. It was all very interesting.

An Unique Experience
Sassi (the old town) is unique and lively. The apartment, located at the centre of sassi, is nicely design. The owner Simon and his wife made great effort to renovate this old building step by step.

Des problèmes à l’enregistrement…
Quelques problèmes à l’arrivée a cause d’un soucis sur la plateforme hôtels.com, le nombre de personnes n’ayant pas pu être renseigné Nous étions 3 et non 1, et les hôtes nous on demandé de payer en plus pour les personnes supplémentaires… Très peu de bienveillance de la part de leur part, ils n’ont pas fait preuve de souplesse : « si vous ne payez pas, un dort dedans et les deux autres dehors » C’est dommage car le logement est très sympa au demeurant

agnifique étape dans le Matera historique
Excellent accueil du Propriétaire qui est venu nous chercher dans la zone ou l'on peut parquer avec les véhicules. Il n'y a pas de réception, de ce fait les formalités sont rapides Nous avons eu un 2 pièces moderne et confortable, spacieux et très propre. Le Wifi fonctionne bien et la chambre est bien insonorisée. Située dans la zone pietonne c'est un point de départ idéal pour visiter cette magnifique ville de Matera. Le petit déjeuner et savoureux et se prends dans un café restaurant à quelques minutes de la chambre. il y a de belles pièces troglodytes... un sejour parfait
