Skiing in the Bavarian Forest
We had a wonderful time visiting the Mauth-Finsterau area. Cross country skiing was fabulous. Rentals were available right in Mauth. Accommodations and breakfast at the Scottish Highlander were excellent. Evening meals at the Gasthaus Fuchs were also excellent. I would highly recommend this area and the Scottish Highlander to anyone seeking a winter ski vacation.

Beautiful place..
We felt like home. The breakfast was great,specially the traditional scottish one. Our bedroom was very cozy and comfortable to stay with two small children. Great place to enjoy nature. We loved it and we want to came back soon!!

Die Betreiber haben ihre Leidenschaft für Schottland zum Programm gemacht, wobei das zu keinem Zeitpunkt aufdringlich oder nervig wirkte. Auch wer Schottland nichts abgewinnen kann wird hier trotzdem eine schöne, preiswerte Unterkunft und eine herzliche Atmosphäre vorfinden.

Waren Total Positiv Überrascht von der Freundlichkeit und dem Service der Besitzer. Klasse war auch das Schottische Frühstück welches auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet wird. Wir waren zu viert dort vor Ort und hatten einen sehr angenehmen und ruhigen Aufenthalt. Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise haben aber am nächsten Morgen entschieden das wir hier gerne mal ein paar Tage Urlaub machen werden.

Dort stimmt einfach alles!
Wir haben nun schon zum zweiten Mal ein verlängertes Wochenende im Scottish Highlander Guesthouse verbracht und es stimmte einfach wieder alles! Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war wieder sehr gemütlich und picobello sauber. Nicht unerwähnt soll auch das qualitativ hochwertige Frühstück und die riesige Auswahl bleiben. Nun freuen wir uns schon wieder auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt im Scottish Highlander Guesthouse und möchten dieses Haus auch sehr gerne unseren Freunden und Bekannten weiterempfehlen.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge
Als Urlaubsdomizil für Tagesausflüge gut geeignet. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Besitzer. Alles sehr sauber und gute Betten. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Besonders die Semmeln. Der Fernseher auf dem Zimmer ist sehr, sehr klein. Ebenso das Bad ist recht winzig mit gerade so ausreichender Beleuchtung. Aber, was selten ist, es gibt ausreichend Haken zum Aufhängen der Handtücher. Im Frühstücksraum besteht die Möglichkeit, per Selbstbedienung verschiedene Getränke zu erhalten. Auto kostenfrei in Tiefgarage.

Hübsche Pension mit Frühstück
Waren leider nur zwei Nächte dort aber würden wieder hier übernachten. Nette Zimmer mit Balkon oder Sitzplatz. Leckeres Frühstück und kühle Getränke zur Selbstbedienung. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und nettes Ambiente. Am Früstückstisch konnten wir die geplante Wanderung nochmals mit der Gastgeberin besprechen und anpassen. Sehr zuvorkommend und helfen immer gerne weiter.
