We have stayed in Mazatlan many times, but this was our first experience at The Inn at Mazatlan. We had reserved an oceanfront studio and they upgraded us to a one bedroom two bath oceanfront with 180° view of the beach and the pool.. My husband and I both agreed it was the nicest room we had ever stayed in and only on the third floor, which was perfect for us. The staff treated us like a queen and king always opening the doors for us as we entered or exited the main lobby. the pool was warm and the restaurant served delicious food … Especially the tortilla soup. Hats off to Guillermo For interpreting in certain situations and Martha, our cleaning lady who did an excellent job. When we return to Mazatlan We will definitely stay at The Inn.

The consistency of the property is satisfactory, I do like the views from the terrace. It’s just the kitchenette could use a little TLC, and I know it’s a tropical climate so maybe some complementary bug spray. For the price, I will say I will definitely be back. Just maybe a little more flexibility at the check encounter would have been nice.

Firstly, I just want to say that the staff at this property were so friendly & helpful. The restaurant/pool staff always made sure we had exactly what we wanted and checked on us frequently. The bellhops were quick to help w/luggage, groceries & calling for transportation. We read that the area was noisy so we expected that! Take ear plugs! It wasn't every night but on the weekends you could hear the cars on the street. All in all it wasn't too bad & in no way affected our stay. The property itself was clean. We felt VERY safe. The one downside was the smaller restaurant out by the pool was not open. Somewhat of a let down as we were hoping to get some lunch out there by the pool. Regarding the rooms, we had a 1 bedroom ocean front. The view was amazing. The room was cleaned and fresh every day. We appreciated that!! It is in need of an upgrade. Everything is a bit outdated. Even something as easy as newer kitchen appliances, cook ware, couch... small things make a huge difference. A huge shout out to Juan at Papagayo!! he was amazing and took care of all our drink needs. Also, the restaurant is great!

Good location in Mazatlan. Hotel is very dated. Big rooms but, musty smell. Pillows had a very strong smell like they were left in the washer for days. Air conditioner was very loud. Took two visits from the repairman guy to get it to work. Awful noise never was fixed.

Beach at this hotel was safe to swim at even for kids. Hotel is also centrally located at Zona Dorada so restaurants are walking distance. Tower with the larger 1 and 2 bedroom suites is a bit outdated but looks like they are upgrading this tower with a 3rd elevator so hopefully they will be updating the rooms also. Hotel has all inclusive as an option which I really appreciated since it allows you to both eat there and also dine out to the wonderful restaurants throughout Mazatlan. Highly recommend this hotel if looking for a hotel that doesn’t require all inclusive purchase.
