Close to highway 1 with not much sitting options but other than that this is an affordable spot to stay close to many attractions

Short stay
We were really only long enough to eat dinner and sleep. House was great, but it backs up to the freeway. It was very noisy and the constant headlights of the vehicles are a little frustrating.

Stay in McKinleyville
House was new and very clean. Basics in kitchen. Living area needs more comfortable furniture. Being both 70 yrs old, we cant sit in a bean bag or get out of it and the futon was very uncomfortable. Bedrooms were fine, but needed somewhere to place our luggage. Too close to the highway. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

The communication through Expedia was nonexistent. If I had not found that I could communicate with the host through VRBO I would never have gotten access to the unit. VRBO was useless when asked for details as they said it was all to be managed through Expedia.

Cool getaway from valley heat.
Property new, good amenities and very clean. Living room IMO needs a bit more seating. Futon and bean bag chair not that comfy. Any more than two people would definitely not be enough. Also, a luggage stand in 2nd bedroom needed.

Tucked away in Humboldt
Nice little house, took a few tries to find it but then we appreciated the privacy. It was clean and inviting. Definitely recommended if you need a spot near the airport.

Fantastic stay! Cozy, comfortable, clean, perfect for a small family!
It was clean, tastefully decorated yet simple, had all basic amenities, and was a fairly convenient location (a little too close to hwy 101.... traffic noise). Loved our stay.

Perfect home base for Redwoods vacation
My teen son and I very much enjoyed our stay at this home over Spring Break. It is the perfect home base for visiting the Redwood parks. It is challenging to find; look for laminated signs directing you past the farmhouse. The property managers did not give us the key code until we arrived, which was frustrating. Once inside the home it is well-appointed and quite lovely. It had everything that we needed, and we were grateful for the nice kitchen, good beds, white linens (!), and hot showers!
