We were in Brooks for a family funeral which started at 2pm. This hotel was kind enough to accommodate us so we could get ready in a room around 12:30pm after our long drive. The staff were all very friendly. We were worried the waterslide wasn't working, but they just have it off when no one is using it so you just have to ask. Its actually quite fast and lots of fun! The hot tub was wonderfully hot (not just lukewarm). The games room is a fun addition, too! The rooms were dated, but spacious. Loved having a mini fridge, extra sink, and a microwave. The bathrooms are tight to move around with, but plenty of counter space. A couple ice machines weren't working, so we just had to go to a different floor. I was very impressed with breakfast. Quite a few options for a small space and always a staff member there to refill or assist and we went witnin the last half hour of their breakfast time. The bed was a bit hard and the TV small compared to other hotels, but everything worked and was clean which was most important. We could hear the people above us walking (sounded like stomping but I'm pretty sure they were walking normally) so if you're needing an exceptionally quiet place, maybe ask for the top floor.
