In planning this trip, I had no idea of where to stay, but wanted something conveniently located and central to everything. In Medjugorje, everything seems centrally located because it is so small. However, this hotel is off the Main Street and somewhat separate from the crowds, which is nice. The walk to St James was no more that 5 minutes, the walk to the foot of Apparition Hill about 20 minutes. We walked everywhere with ease!! Also in planning the trip, we started in the US, flying to Rome. We spent 2 nights in Rome before flying to Mostar. I contacted the Hotel and they provided a shuttle from the airport to the Hotel for 70 Euro (2 people, a return shuttle was also provided for an additional 70 Euro). I all I feel it was well worth the expense. The Hotel was excellent!!! Very clean!!! But the best part was the staff!!!!!!!! They were very helpful in all aspects of the trip. The coffee was excellent, with espresso/mocha machine in the breakfast room and at the checkin counter. The breakfast was good with eggs and sausage or just eggs. Cheese, ham and sausage were also sliced up and available. Fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices and small pastries rounded out the menu. In all, excellent!! Overall, will I come back and stay here, ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!

Outstanding hotel!

Thus hotel is outstanding. As we joined a spiritual journey to Medjugorje, we knew we would be busy and in need of comfort. It would be difficult to beat the Palace for all your needs, and the quiet solitude, with an incredible view of Apparition Hill. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back.

Room size was great! AC made it very comfortable. Andrea at reception was very professional, friendly, and helpful. Parking was easy and convenient. Shower had great water pressure and was updated. No coffee maker in the room or available except during restaurant hours of operation. Breakfast was advertised to start at 7:00 AM but didn’t open until 7:40 AM. No soap or shampoo available, and body wash made available had an odd odor.

Amazing place the services is great. I will recommend Hotel Palace for anybody who is coming to visit Medjugorje, its a walking distance to the church and the center of the town as well as the apparition hill (further place about 30min walking) they also offer tours in Spanish. The staff is very helpful with anything that you will need.

The rooms are big and clean, bathroom is excellent with good water pressure and warm water. Staff very friendly and speak good English. The only point that really needs improvement is that there is no fridge in the room. That is outdated, you must have the option to store water or drinks cool and perhaps, or if applicable put your medicines there.

This place is great! We were on a Medjugorje religious pilgrimage and this hotel is in a PERFECT area. Always clean & such a friendly staff! Only a 8 minute walk to St. James Church and all the faith-filled activities Medjugorje had to offer. Plus, an easy walk to the base of Apparition Hill. Great breakfast, A/C throughout the hotel, reception had a bar counter which offered freshly made cappuccino, espresso, beer, and other cold beverages. Cost of hotel beverages was VERY reasonable plus excellent restaurants within 5 minutes of this hotel. Overall a great choice for us.
