The bed was very comfortable, water pressure in the shower excellent. There it stops room very dirty, worst I’ve ever seen , shower had mould and I don’t think they had ever cleaned or moved the toilet brush , shower base was yuck , no toilet roll holder. The microwave had food splatter and the dishes had not been washed .T V remote was missing the back, hence batteries kept falling out. Entrance to the property was dirty, only one lift working. Dreadful experience

Black mould around bath. Cracked and broken tiles. Cracked toilet with sticky tape holding cistern together. Filthy dirty grimy window. Dirty carpet. Dirty entrance full of rubbish .

It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If you’re in a low budget well, prepare for exactly that. If you can’t decide between saving 20-50 bucks don’t doubt it and go somewhere else. There were bugs in the towels and in the room; they need to fumigate. The rug was really dirty, the kettle was in miserable conditions the same as the tub and sink. There was a really strange smell always and the staff in the front desk was totally unfriendly and totally unhelpful. The only good thing about this place is the location. I have pictures and videos about the awful conditions. They only cleaned my room once in 5 nights and there was fungus in the tub. Really if you can stay somewhere else DONT DOUBT it… they don’t have sanity conditions here.

Found the bed comfortable and but the pillows were thin and uncomfortable and no extras were supplied. Floors and shower stall in the bathroom were grimy and grubby. Bins weren't emptied. Could have better block out curtains. Also noisy because of the trams and people but that's just the location on Swanston St. It was central to Flinders Station and Melbourne Central.

Shabby but practical! I stayed for a few nights during July. The room was GRIM: dark, dreary and dated. Some areas had a lot of accumulated dust, my son was afraid to use the shower due to the chips and stains. We spent a lot of time in the neighbouring McDonalds to avoid being in the room. No heating in winter though the room stayed at around 17 or 18 degrees. And there was a lot of draft and ambiant street noise from the window. On a positive note: the double room was surprisingly spacious, with it's own sofa, and separated kitchenette area. This was definitely the high point, having a microwave, fridge, kettle, and plates and cutlery. SO practical with supermarkets around the corner. The young man who works at the front desk is also polite and helpful. In short, for the price it was fine. If they refreshed the decor a little it would really be a hidden gem in the city.

Central location, great value for money
The hotel was very centrally located - very happy with that. The room, although clean, might have done with a fresh coat of paint. That said, communications were good and overall value for money for a central Melbourne spot was very good.

It was the worst hotel experience I've had. The room smelled terrible, there was mold in the shower, the floors were dirty, material on the chair was ripped, several of the power points didn't work, there was a single flat pillow and hard concrete edges around a very narrow single bed, there was no wifi -- the reality of the room was a far cry from the advertising photo. The location so close to Flinders St. was the attraction, but everything else about the stay was awful. I couldn't wait to check out. I'll never be going back

I was disappointed in the dilapidated state of the room and the foyer should have been my first warning. Broken, loose or missing fittings. Dirty bathroom floors. Loose and peeling paint on a wall, towels that thin they were transparent. No plates or knife should you wish to use the toaster. And yes it's a budget hotel but it misses the mark on cleanliness. Safety wise I hope my room was the only one with a plastic bag tied around the smoke director.

I have stayed in many places and are seriously not a fuusy person, but this has honestly got to be the most disgusting place I have ever entered! Black mold all over the walls,everything covered in filth!! WE walked into room and literally walked straight out and checked into another hotel. Would not sleep here let alone stay in the room for more than five minutes. It was like a deralict crack house.

This place to put simply was horrible. It's extremely unclean as it has black mold pretty much everywhere. For me it was most notable near my pillow and in the shower. Additionally it was just really dusty. I seriously don't think these guys clean at all. Also the room smelt like cigarette smoke which was extremely noticeable the entire time. It was to the point it made me lightheaded. While the area is really convient, it has like 0 sound proofing so expect to hear the trams the entirely of them running and people outside this extremely busy area. For pictures look at it what people have posted on Google reviews for the place. It's bad.
