I never write poor reviews. I either love a hotel or if it’s not quite up to par I just don’t stay there again. But Comfort Inn was so terrible I have to share my negative experience. I was booked for 7 nights for a work gig nearby. Firstly, the manager and staff were rude and unhelpful and even dismissive. The customer service was woeful. They acted like they were doing me a favour letting me stay in their run down filth hole. Every cheap piece of furniture in the room was either damaged, dirty, or broken. The outside window to the driveway was bent out of shape and couldn’t be closed. That made the room not secure. The tiles in the bathroom were broken, stained, or grotty. You had to sit sidesaddle on the loo to do a bowel movement. Light switches didn’t work or were broken. The king size bed was two beds clipped together (like some other hotels do) but one side was inches lower and sagging. The state of the communal areas was so disgusting. I sat on a stair a few times to wait for an uber, and there was a dried blood stain on the wall the whole week, with a small pile of cigarette butts on the floor beside. Reception refused to assist when another guest was blaring music. They just waved me away and wouldn’t answer the phone. The walls are paper thin and doors slamming and people having loud sex above us. I had booked the room based on photos on Expedia to work at the desk in the room during my stay. But the desk was a bench and completely wrong height for chair.

Poor comfort and service.

Its under new management. The Wi-Fi did not work. They agreed that it does not work near the end of the hotel. They glibly asked us to use the Wi-Fi. We cancelled our stay after the first night. They have still not refunded the money back to use. The Cafe in the photo opens late and has exceedingly poor service. There is just one person and it took her 30 mins to heat up a croissant.

No room yet took my money

Arrived at reception, female tells me not received any booking and has no room. I attempt to show her my emails and receipts for payment. She wouldn't look at me. Evenrually she said you need to phone Agoda sometime they no good. We had driven 2 and half hrs . I ask her for help, she wouldnt look at me, then kept ignoring me.

The bed and linen were acceptable however nothing else was. The tap fell off the wall, stains, cobwebs and dirt were on all fittings and fixtures. And hammering & sounds as if the ceiling was about to come down on us from 7.30am. Avoid!

I would like to see once the renovations have been finished. The staff were really nice and suggested a great place to go for dinner. However the headboards had stains everywhere. Paint peeling off the walls and chips on the floor tiles in bathrooms. Marks on the desk and all the switches. Definitely needs a good vacuum but that is probably cause of all the renovations with the dust. The towels and sheets were clean and soft.
