A really nice place to stay if you have events close to the Docklands area. Great vibe and comfortable rooms. The only knock was the breakfast eggs and bacon were very tasteless. For that reason I personally would not take breakfast there in the future

Amazing stay
The hotel was still new, the overall hotel was still clean and in good condition. The hotel was located next to Spencer station and not far from the tram stop as well. CBD was also within walking distances. Room was clean and bed was comfy. No coin laundry provided inside the hotel but there was one across from the hotel. Swimming pool and the hot tub facility were clean. They also have sauna and steam room facility as well as gym.

At check in was given a recommended address for the trip for drivers but it was incorrect. Baggage wasn’t given to you, it has to be picked up from storage room. Wrong timing for breakfast and restaurant opening hours from some staff left us puzzled. Then there were some good team members who knew what they were doing and recommending. Breakfast can be given a skip, with the fresh honey being the high light of the breakfast.

Balcony not a balcony
I chose to stay here as I like that they have balcony rooms. In the photos it looks like a normal balcony but it was actually completely enclosed with glass. So it wasn’t actually a balcony? That was very disspointing. On checkin they have the computers to self check in which I chose to do as a lot of people were waiting to check in. I got through the whole process and then right at the end it said error - go to the reception desk. By then the line for check in was even longer and it probably took another half an hour before I actually got to my room. Otherwise it was a lovely hotel, a great room, clean and tidy. Pool area was very nice as well. We enjoyed our stay

**Hotel Review: Mixed Experience** I recently stayed at Dorsett Melbourne , and my experience was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the interior design of the hotel is good, with a modern and stylish aesthetic that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The buffet breakfast is another good point , offering a nice variety of options to start the day. However, there were several significant drawbacks that detracted from my stay: - The breakfast area capacity is limited, resulting in long wait times to be seated. On one occasion, I had to wait for up to 15 minutes, which is something I’ve never encountered at any other hotel. -The indoor pool, advertised as heated, was disappointingly cold. The water temperature was so low that it was unusable, which was a major letdown. -Cleanliness in the room was subpar. I requested extra blankets, but they arrived smelly, suggesting they hadn’t been washed for a long time. Additionally, the cleaners didn’t change the used towels, which is very unusual for a 4-star hotel. -The staff experience was inconsistent. While some staff members were nice and polite, others were unfriendly and unhelpful, which gave an impression of poor management overall. Given these issues, particularly the cleanliness and service inconsistencies, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again. There are certainly some redeeming qualities, but the negatives outweigh the positives for me.
