The property was well presented, inside and out, but more importantly, so cosy and warm thanks to the brilliant hydronic panel heating. Quite the restful retreat; the perfect mid-Winter escape we were seeking.

The property is in a fantastic location. Close walking distance to the beach and located in a quiet street. The room was beautifully appointed and very clean and a very good comfortable size. Breakfast was superb and the property owner Charles was so friendly and was so helpful in anything that we wanted. Would highly recommend this property next time you are thinking of staying down on the peninsular.

Plantation House is next-level amazing. It’s beautiful, lovely service (thank you Charles and Lorraine) and the breakfast was delicious too! But my favourite was the gorgeous spa bath, so good!! Highly recommend

Amazing Beach Getaway
One of the best bed and breakfasts we have stayed at. Great location just a stones throw from the beach, clean and spacious with an amazing breakfast served by Charles who was a fantastic host. Would highly recommend Plantation House and will definitely go back.

Fabulous Plantation House
We had a wonderful stay at Plantation House. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Charles is a friendly and welcoming host. Can’t wait to go back.

Very disappointed
Didn’t get to stay at the plantation house at all as there was a double booking done. When we arrived there to check in..the other people who booked the same room through what if.com got the room already. Plantation house was fully booked out. They offered us another accommodation at a motel nearby quite late which was no where near the accomodation we booked for. We are very disappointed.

Great night stay in Rye
We stayed in The Bahamas room, it was very nice, except for no opening windows to allow fresh air, only the French doors, but that would allow mosquitos as we found very quickly. Breakfast was delicious provided with great hospitality from Charles.
